Veayva Shower Commode Wheelchair Folding and Reclining Design for adults, light weight and alluminium frame

All the outset, must appreciate Veayva for bringing this product to the market... I guess, I am first buyer to review this product. I was searching for perfect commode wheel chair for my paralysed father, but was not very happy with requirement vs. Actual features @ worthy price. Just saw this product added recently to Amazon and studying features ordered it immediately. Could get it @7K with bank offer. Very good product with following Positive Points : 1. Superb build quality 2. Brilliantly designed, as a mech. engineer, I Could judge that better. 3. Both front and rear wheels quality good 4. Material (Alluminum) quality is very good. Pipe thickness optimized to make it sturdy but still light weight 5. Due to chrome finish got confused, but checked with magnet to confirm Alluminum. 6. All fitting nut bolts and self locking and chrome / zinc nickel plated. 7. Though light weight, very sturdy 8. Back resting is with tilt adjustment 9. Locks to avoid unwanted folding of chair 10. Foldable foot rest 11. Due to alluminum material it must be suitable for shower 12. Wheel fitting a d weld (brazing) quality is very good. 13. Good designed to fold and carry during travelling. 14. Bucket quality is also good. 15. Bolts tips are also covered with plastic soft caps to avoid harm to user / scratches while handling Negative points : 1. So far no such negative point at this price range 2. Not sure about fasteners rust prevention quality, when to be used for shower Will add negative points as and when find any...

There were no instructions sent with the product, which speaks volumes. There's no safety belt, which we realized only after we received the product, which should be paramount for a product of this type since it involves moving patients. Also, the seat has two press clips on the back, which easily come off under seating pressure in the front. In addition, it is extremely difficult to open and close the chair when folded, despite using a lubricant. It needs two people to yank it open. A poor product and not worth the price. Do not buy.

Best in this class, Aluminium 3 in 1 wheel chair, size & comfort is OK

this is a very good sturdy chair on wheels, perfect for bathroom and also when not used for bathroom, serves as a comfortable chair too..... must for all seniors

Special attention should have been paid to waterproofing the wheel bearings, this being a shower chair. And especially the thrust bearing on top of the front casters. This was not done and now water seems to made it's way into this bearing and it has failed. I have contacted the seller several times on this matter. I even told him that l would pay him for the replacement wheels through Amazon. But l have had no sensible response from him. It is extremely tedious to operate this chair with a faulty bearing, so l would recommend that you stay away from this.
