I have a large chest, I wear a 38J bra size and have a little extra fluff around my mid section. I ordered the XXL. I have a hard time finding shirts long enough, large enough for my chest and fitted, but not a moomoo fit where it looks like I am wearing a bag, giving the illusion that I am bigger than I am. I don't like them clingy around the belly either. I absolutely love the fit of this shirt. It hangs nicely, covering my mid section and making me feel so comfortable about my belly and I don't have to suck in my gut.The style of this shirt is great, flattering, feminine, lightweight and soft. It is flowy but not so much extra material that it makes me look bigger or like I am wearing a garbage bag with no form. It is super stretchy so I think I might have been able to go a size down. I normally wear XL to XXL or 1X women's shirts but every shirt is so different in sizing it is hard to judge. I try to get enough room for my girls first.I recommend this shirt, getting your normal size first. It feels so light to wear I won't get overheated wearing it. I can dress this up for work or wear it with jeans going out so it is a universal look. I like the collar detail and the little button on the sleeve. It just adds a little more to the style and makes it look just a little nicer to me. I have great coverage but still hold a feminine look. It is long enough I could wear it with leggings and boots and will pretty soon!I hope it holds up to washing and doesn't pile. The care instructions say to hang dry and not use a dryer but sometimes I am not the one doing the laundry so I assume at some point it will get put in the dryer. The first sweater I got in the carmine had dye issues: one shoulder was a slightly different but noticeable color. I reordered because I loved the color & it fit well, & the second sweater had no dye issues.
