Renewed an old favorite!
Excellent rich color leather dye. Easy to apply and cured well. Remains flexible. I was able to give new life to a soft leather purse I have that had seen its better days. Now it looks like new! The color I used is navy blue. The color coverage was even. I was a little worried that it might be blotchy. No problem at all. Top notch! I will use this company’s matte finishing sealant to be sure the color does not rub off.

Really impressed with this brand of dye, I’ll be ordering more colors as I run out of current colors
This is the first time I’ve tried this brand of leather dye, I usually use another brand but this brand and I really like the finished color and the once the top coating is put on the dyed leather it looks really good.. One of the things about he other brand I use is its alcohol based so it hardens the Leather as it dries and I don’t always want hardened leather when I dye it, so this doesn’t seem to be alcohol based and colors my leather projects really nice without making them harder or stiffer So I do like this dyes so I ordered a few more colors to try and all in all they give nice results and good coverage, and price is about the same as the other dyes I’ve used, but I do like them a bit more so I’ll more then likely order this brand of dyes as I run out of my other colors This is a good dye and covers wonderfully

Great product
It’s a great product. Dyed a pair of congac boots to black. They ended up looking like if black is their original color. Also dyed a belt and a leather vest. Great results. Will definitely use this product again and again. IT WILL STAIN! Obviously, so protect your working area and watch for any spills. I accidentally stained my table cover

Worked great to change shoes from medium rust-brown to dark mahogony brown.
I live in California so ordinary spirits based dyes, which professionals use, is not legal. But this low VOC formula worked very well for me. I have a pair of rust brown dress shoes that I eventually didn't like the color of. But they're very nice shoes costing several hundred dollars. How I did it: 1) Used paint thinner (the type legal in California) or I could have used nail polish remover. I used maybe two tablespoons total. With shoe trees inserted into the shoes, I rubbed hard and removed any shoe wax and dirt, plus a little bit of the color, of my rust brown shoes. So the rust color was slightly lighter. 2) used the wool dobber to apply Dark Brown to both shoes, including the edge of the sole and the heels. It goes on very wet due to the California legal formula. It took three whole days for the moist shoes to dry. The color is now mostly dark brown, but with rust undertones. So the full effect is like a mohagony brown. They look fantastic. I've seen shoes that look like this and they call it a museum finish... slightly marbled. 3) Applied shoe conditioner (in my case Saphir Renovateur). I could just as well have used Neatsfoot leather conditioner, like pros do, but I already had the Saphir. This conditioned the leather, and then Saphir Pate de Luxe clear color wax for a good shine and also protection against water.

Quality
Great product, great results. For better results you may need to apply a second coat. It all depends on the original color of the item you're applying to.

Great product but give shoes time to dry.
Dyed my canvas shoes great but you need to let these type shoes dry for a week. Otherwise the dye will bleed on your feet and make them look like gangrene.

Great for slate coasters
I'm using this in a non traditional option. I coat my black slate coasters then engrave and it helps with color and so people can use with less wear and tear from condensation. It dried fast if I spread evenly and thinly. Great value as it will last me a long time. It will stain your skin if you are not extra careful or use gloves.

amount vs. quality vs price
VOC is sometimes ok. Volatile Organic compound outgas from a product indicating curing or evaporating, while doing that the items dries. This product is low in VOC compounds. Yes, I get it, yet I don't understand then why the container is so small. 3 ounces. while others are 6 ounces. You see VOC's help with penetration of the leather, fiber, or cloth etc. I am not convinced of the quality, but definitely not convince it should be so small for the price. Having worked in manufacturing, I know what chemical costs are for liquids pretty - well after a long time. Its not dollars per shot, its pennies per shot. This is not enough product for the cost and not a good penetrating and evenly spread dye. I don't usually comment the idea that if you have a product I have available funds to buy it thats called business. Its not business to get a "tell me how I did' in turn I am asking how did I do. Its not important. I paid you made. I worked in Chemical pigment companies. Pigment vs dye is a thing, and they have costs. I gave a 3 its a good product not a great product. I will go buy at my local shoe repair place again as I have for years, the 6 to 8 ounce bottle with the VOC is preferred by me. I have been polishing my shoes since basic training. Any Military man will tell you a good spit shine is so good looking, take care of your shoes - right?

古い革ジャケットを真っ黒に染める。クリーニングに出した後で汚れや余計な油分がないためか面白いように染まる。仕上げはレザーコートで。

This dye worked perfectly on my leather shoes.

My bag was damage by bleach 😩 I could easily do the whole bag with only 1/4 of the dye bottle ! Really good 👍

I used this dye to fix up some patchy-coloured ottomans. The first ottoman was less patchy, so I experimented with layering the dye on the light spots. I definitely didn’t need to, as now I have dark spots that don’t 100% blend in. Still an improvement though! For the second, more damaged one, I simply coated the entire seat and it nearly blended in the light marks. A second, light coat over the light marks blended them in very nicely. My favourite part about this dye is that, once it was dry, it no longer secreted dye. Meaning, I felt comfortable sitting on the ottoman without worrying about dye seeping into my pants. Minimal cleanup and care work after. If you see splotches in the photo, it’s just because I used conditioner that hadn’t fully been absorbed or wiped off yet. Very impressive dye: all the steps I’d planned to make this project more complicated weren’t needed as the dye took care of everything.

very easy to use, value for money because a little goes a long way - of course it depends on the depth of colour. showing you a before and after. I didn't use any cleaning agent before hand. I just used an old rag to wipe off dust.
