This stuff is FANTASTIC
I have used one other brand of hair mask before that I would keep on for 10+ minutes to set and would achieve these same results. I liked it, but it was twice as much so I thought I’d try this and see how I liked it. I’m quite impressed by this stuff though! I used to Irish Copper colour. First of all, I feel like I barely used any of the bottle at all. I’ll probably have another 5 or 6 uses out of this bottle. The other brand I used was a larger bottle but it only lasted 3 times (the first being 2 days in a row because I apparently had to use A LOT for it to work properly and doing it two days in a row finally got the results I was hoping to achieve). Secondly, I kept this on only for 5 minutes and, when the alarm went off, looked at my hair and was like oooh yeh it’s DEFINITELY done. The other took 10-12 minutes with the same results. I may need a shorter setting time in the future because this is still quite an intense colour, but sooo beautiful. It doesn’t need to be this intense though. I look forward to being able to play with the setting time. This stuff is quite effective. I started with the ends of my hair first, then moved towards my scalp. It always seems that my ends fade faster so I just thought I’d try it this way and see what happened. I’m glad I did because there’s no difference between the ends of my hair and what’s at my scalp like I’d naturally see when my hair is coloured. I’m very happy with how it turned out. Even the other stuff I used rendered different shades from the top of my head to the ends, but I started with my scalp with that stuff too and that was probably the issue. The smell. Let’s talk about the smell. So, any hair dye usually has a very pungent smell. It’s unavoidable. However, this has a “powder fresh” smell to me… like baby powder or baby wipes. That said, it’s an INTENSE smell of baby powder/baby wipes. At first, I was like ah yeh I like this vs the other stuff I’ve used. By the end of application, it was a bit nauseating. Still more pleasant than the other stuff though! Now that my hair is done and dried, I love the smell of my hair! It just smells “fresh.” Like a gentile soap. Additionally, my hair is SOFT! I have thick, naturally curly hair. It’s both coarse and fine. I generally use African American products on my hair because they work best (my hair is naturally a dark, almost black, ash brown but has been ginger for a couple decades now). “Soft” is NOT a word I would typically use to describe my hair. But it definitely feels soft after using this! That said, I was NOT able to easily run my brush through my hair after I washed this out like I can when I use regular conditioner (I use Nexxus for coloured hair). It didn’t take any great effort as though I hadn’t used any conditioner at all, but the brush did stop on its own due to tangles and I’d have to brush it in sections, especially towards the bottom. Now that it’s dry, though, it does feel well moisturised. I’m quite happy with that. I will update in about a week to review on how long this colour seems to last. For comparison, I am uploading a photo from 2 days ago and also tonight. The photo from two days ago is me with my hair straight. That photo was taken 13 days after colouring my hair (Schwarzkopf 8-77 with 30 toner). The photo with me in yellow, my hair curly (natural) is the same day (today) that I used this product. I didn't use it very long because I was afraid of how intense the colour would turn out... so I'd guess probably around 2 minutes max. Edit: 26 December 2025 - This is forever going to be the only stuff I use! I typically only use this ONCE between colourings (which is every 4-6 weeks). To be honest, I don’t even think I’d be colouring my hair as often if it wasn’t for how quickly my roots grow out! By the time I’m ready to colour again, my hair is still so vibrant when it used to be more like a strawberry blonde or even just a brassy blonde. I’ve since cut my hair (for the first time in a decade) and now one bottle of this stuff lasts ages. I still have a little more than half the bottle left and haven’t bought a new bottle for about 4 months now. Granted this is only my second bottle, if that tells you how little you need and how long it lasts vs how vibrant it is. I have now found my magic number is 2 and a half minutes. I could probably even manage less. It’s 2.5 minutes AFTER I’ve put it all in. I’ve found using latex gloves speeds up the application process, and I do it on wet freshly washed hair when I’m still in the shower. It’s also great for keeping your hands from being dyed. And I just keep the gloves on a shelf in the shower for whenever I’m in the mood to deposit a little more colour. But don't be like some of these silly people out there and think that DYE won't stain your hands! lol I used a different brand of dye so my hair looks darker than usual in the pic (orange/blue plaid) and was probably the 2nd day of using clarifying shampoo to tone the orange a bit. Wasn't a fan of the dye, but this mask helped brighten it up. Love this stuff!! Edit: 7 May 2026 - I decided to try a couple more brands. I've now used 4 brands of copper masks/glosses. I do like the Overtone golden copper a lot, but I'm still also a big fan of this naissant Irish copper and am buying another bottle today (my 4th now). I think I'll keep both around and keep testing them both back and forth. Adding a couple more photos for comparison to help if you're struggling to decide which brand to get (in red plaid with overtone day 2 - it rinses out very quickly, and around a week of fade of naissant, using nexxus conditioner daily, long curly and in blue - and just to show you the dpHUE, which is darker and more of a red tone in yellow plaid). I still recommend this one and, just remember, the longer you leave on, the more intense and vibrant (orange) the color is! I typically leave mine in for 2.5 to 5 minutes on wet hair (naissant) but it can be very intense so I'll typically use a clarifying shampoo on it same or next day if I don't get it rinsed out in under 3 and a half minutes or before I finish showering.

“Excellent products for blonde hair! They help neutralize yellow tones while leaving the hair soft, shiny, and hydrated. The argan oil smells amazing and controls frizz without feeling greasy. Highly recommend!”

I WORSHIP AT THE ALTAR OF THIS SUPREME SOLUTION TO MY HAIR PROBLEM!
i cannot explain very well the crime a colorist committed on my hair, but it was not even close to what i had asked for. for three weeks i've lived with my hair tucked into a scrunchie bun, looking like a rabbit, knowing full well i wouldn't have any hair left if i tried to have it toned to an actual color or anything tolerable. it was bright whitish yellowish and when i looked in the mirror i needed sunglasses because it was just like looking directly into the sun. i searched the internet for a solution that wouldn't chemically burn my hair any further. there were many suggestions, but there were more warnings, "don't use ash because you hair will turn green" and "don't use something else because your hair will turn orange", and so forth. then i stumbled across a video explaining this naissant pearl blonde, and the woman in the video explained why she wouldn't use anything else as well as when to use the purple or the blue. things on my head couldn't get much worse, so i followed the instructions and bought the naissant pearl blonde purple toning mask all the while paranoid that i'd end up with purple hair. after doing a strand test i was pretty sure this would turn out okay, so next day i did my whole head. my hair is naturally very porous, even more so because of what the colorist did to it, and the instructions say leave this mask on for 1 to 5 minutes. playing it safe, i chose 60 mississippis. nervous as my hair dried, i am now thrilled to say THIS product is the solution to your many woes. my hair looks like hair. the color is no longer blinding people who accidentally gaze in my direction. in the mirror, it looks...dare i say...natural and normal and i'm so pleased because i don't want to make small children cry and run in horror. needless to say i will be using this product for the next 2.5 - 3 years until the full length of my hair doesn't need its assistance. knowing it doesn't contain a single cuticle-harming chemical was the cherry on top. i would also like to mention the fragrance is delicious! like a delicate, beautiful, and fresh mist of cologne. THIS PRODUCT WILL SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM!

Good product
This is a pretty good color depositing conditioner def wear some disposable gloves while putting in but the color is a nice coppery tone. It stays for at least 2 weeks maybe 3. Leaves my hair soft. I would just be careful with the staining but hey if it didn’t stain then it wouldn’t work .

Not permanent, but works well
For anyone that may not be aware-this toner is not permanent. It last for a couple of shampoos, so you will see the purple still rinsing out for the next few washes. It does not have the strong odor that regular toners have (because that’s not what this stuff is lol). It has a light perfumey/clean scent. It does work fairly well, but does not correct areas that are brassy/orange. It will tone those areas down a bit, but does not completely remove/hide them. It works very well on the light parts of the hair. Just wish it lasted longer. The first time I used it, I didn’t notice much difference. The second time, my stepdaughter was talking to me while I was waiting to wash it out, so I accidentally left it in for almost a half hour & I was horrified that my hair would be dyed purple for awhile. lol it WASNT. And actually worked MUCH better than the short amount of time I left it in, the first time. I would definitely buy it again. It’s just a bit costly for something that only lasts a couple of washes.

Amazing!
Before buying, I saw the videos and they almost seemed hard to believe, but after trying it myself, it actually works. I bought the pearl one for brassiness and applied it directly to dry hair, then washed it out after 20 minutes. It not only helped with my highlights but also left my hair super soft and silky. I would definitely buy this again.

Refreshes my hair color so much it’s like going to the salon
I’ve been using this on and off for a year. My hair has not been damaged, and it’s often softer after using this than before. It doesn’t smell bad to me, but it’s a powerful color depositing conditioner, so be prepared for that. I’ll stain my shower orange if I don’t immediately rinse any stray spots, even when the errant conditioner is nothing more than colored water. I appreciate that whenever I use this, I get compliments on my hair. People think that I just had my hair dyed to ginger again. It does work better on pre-dyed hair than on my virgin roots, but still deposits enough color at the top that it’ll blend with the more saturated shafts and ends. I used to use a different red conditioner, but it was more red than ginger which was not my preference. My normal routine is to use this 2x between hair coloring sessions as part of an everything shower. (So maybe once every month and a half since I don’t go to the salon very often. You could probably use it more without any adverse effects). I’ll put it into my hair after shampooing, from root to ends, and make sure every strand is covered so there are no patches. I’ll clip my hair up with a claw clip, slightly scrub at any stray color on the tub or walls, make sure my neck and face are clear of any color so I don’t dye the skin, and then leave it in for 20 minutes. I think it recommends less time than that but the longer the better imo. I always rinse it out super well with cool water. I don’t wear white the next day just in case because I’m paranoid about potentially wrecking a shirt. Using it like this, I’m still on the same bottle that I first bought over half a year ago. I’ll buy it again when it runs out :) it’s a fantastic value for the price. If you have super thick and long hair, you’ll go through it faster. Mine is relatively thin and fine but is long. Enjoy your refreshed hair for cheap!
