Perfect fit for the blender I was trying to repair. It was a great value as I was thinking I was going to have to replace the entire blender because of a broken plastic casing. This is sturdy and has several rubber sealers to replace within the plastic casing.

Blade: 5 star Seals: 5 star Jar base: 2 star Coupling stud: N/A I have a 55+ year old Osterizer 8 speed blender. The blade seized up. Ordered this to get it working again. The blade and seals worked wonderfully. No leaks through the blade bearings or seals during use or letting water stand overnight. Luckily for me I didn't need the jar base and my original is intact and works well. This jar base fits the jar but doesn't seat into the blender. Something prevents it from sitting on the bottom. As a result the jar wobbles greatly when blending. I tried to modify the fins on the jar base to make it seat better w/o success. I saw where someone else create a shim, so I 3D printed one. 71mm diameter, 2.3 mm deep with a 33 mm hole. This allowed the jar base to rest on something firm and reduced the wobbling. The fins weren't snug against the blender so I added a rubber band and that made it pretty snug. At least I have a backup if original jar base breaks. I didn't need the coupling stud either. Installing it looks complicated. I'm happy! My blender works again. Yay! haven't used it yet but looks like all original parts and has a nice supply of the rubber gaskets , just want on hand for when i eventually need them after normal use! you can't find these in a department store.
