I Am Earth: An Earth Day Book for Kids (I Am Learning: Educational Series for Kids) Paperback – Large Print, October 20, 2016

I like the content and the way the earth told his story. It could use a few lmore on details on how to keep the planet from getting sick but overall it’s a good read for kids from the earths’s point view.

This book was both educational and engaging for the students. This book was used for a k-2 special education classroom. Th pictures were vibrant with color, the content sparked conversation and questions from my learners. Great book!

This is exactly the book I was looking for. Simple explanations delivering a powerful message. A fantastic book to influence a kid without them realizing until later self-reflection. I would recommend it as gifts to every birthday party because parents will be influenced by it as well as they read it. The pictures are beautiful, writing concise, message priceless. If I could I would buy boxes of it and leave them wherever I have to stop and pick up grownups fast food trash along the walking trail.

This book presents simple concepts of Earth as a planet in our solar system. Topics covered include gravity, rotation, seasons, the sun, the moon, comets and asteroids, weather, and the balance necessary for life to exist on earth. The authors stress the need for keeping the planet healthy and provide simple suggestions children can implement to keep the planet healthy.The illustrations are colorful and appealing for young readers. While this book does not cover the topic with much detail, it provides a nice overview that children in preschool and the primary grades can easily understand. Recommended as an introductory book to further exploration on space or earth day environmental topics.

great for teaching little ones about Mother Earth

Got this book as a prize for an earth day egg hunt (too many eggs and the kids love to look for eggs). Anyway it is a nice story that also gives a call to action to the kiddos on how they can help keep earth healthy.
