I recently got hooked on Paint by Numbers and purchased the rooster based on other customer reviews. I'm glad I did because I love it. The colors are vibrant and it's so easy to paint. I've done others where it was hard to paint on the canvas. This is super easy! The color just glides perfectly on the canvas. The canvas is pre-colored which I thought was kinda of cheating and worried about the way the colors were gonna show up. The pre-color helps guide you as you go along. It's great for beginners and kids. I already ordered the beautiful colorful cow. Cant wait to paint that one as well.

I just started painting this and already love it. Great stretched canvas. I would suggest getting it already framed. Canvas is good quality and paints go on smoothly. Colors are bright and fun!

I enjoyed this PBN. I've done a few now, and this was the first one I've seen where the canvas was colored! At first, I was like, "what's the fun of painting this since the colors are already there", but when I started, I really liked the easy visual reference, and the fact that the light base color already on the canvas helped the painting look more finished- no little white spots showing through when it was done. Fun kit.

This was a very fun project and easy to do as long as you took your time. There was plenty of paint and the picture is beautiful when you finish. My only gripe, is that there were several areas on the painting that did not have a number. I just guessed my best for those.

Working on this one now. I have the cow that matches. But no frame ☹️ but I'll have to carefully put on frame

Great project. Not for a child skull set. Looks great and a quality product.

Beautiful painting but impossible to get through. The sections for each color are so small, it takes an enormous amount of care and time to paint in the lines. Compared to other paint-by-the-numbers kits, this looks easier but difficulty level is in fact about the same. Nobody actually paints like this. If the manufacturers could design slightly larger paint sections, it would be more enjoyable and we would buy more. But as it is now, we’ll only realistically purchase one every 6 months max

I gifted the chicken paint by number to my niece for Christmas and when she went to use it the paint was dry and unusable. I'm so disappointed and upset. I thought I found the perfect gift but unfortunately I did not.

Paint was vacuum sealed and none were dry. Most paints had an easy application thickness, however some colours are quite thin and required a second coat to cover the numbers (yellow, white, light green). Nice canvas, frame in great condition. Overall I had fun painting and it turned out nice!Note: for the background colour I ended up blending the colours so it didn’t look to choppy but stayed in the lines for the rooster.

Every paint colour is way too thick to use. I've had to thin each one. This takes away a lot of the enjoyment I would normally get from painting.

I am considering returning this product as the painting is already coloured in. It's not as vibrant as what the finished product will be but the whole point is to see the painting come to life number by number, so I feel that this defeats the purpose.
