These baseball pants are nice and thick, holding up well with sliding. My baseball player has had zero complaints about the fit and comfort. He's slim, and these pants fit him well with a belt.

Nice pants which run true to size however, material is fairly thin (good for hot days), so I purchased sliding shorts for underneath. I purchased a size small for an average sized 7yr. old, and they fit well. I would suggest hand washing/air drying (these dry very guickly), but they prob would hold up fine in a washer/dryer. Just be sure to wash with zipper up and pants snapped shut.

My son has longer legs and often will grow out of the length of a pant before he grows out of the waist of the pants. He's 8 years old and grew out of the size small - too short and too tight. The mediums are a great next step - they are a bit big in the waist (thank you belt!) and long in the legs, but since the legs are tapered, the extra length is not a problem at all - and actually makes me relieved to know we have length to grow! We had the mediums for fall in white - but coach switched to gray - so we grabbed the greys in medium too. The smalls had lasted him for 3 seasons and still looked amazing - amazing enough to gift down to our neighbors! I'm hoping the mediums have the same longevity. They're a decent price for how much wear we got out of them.The white ones responded VERY WELL to Iron Out for those red dirt stains - but since you can't use Iron Out on colors (grey), I'm not sure what I'll use this season. Other users are saying they clean up well - so I have a good outlook on these.We tried another brand when these were out of stock - they weren't as good (length was good, but had a very low crotch area, looked sloppy) and only $2 cheaper! Wait for these pants to come back in stock if they're out - it's worth it! Those other pants went straight back to returns. We've found the pants for us!

These have been our go to baseball pants since my kid was in tee ball. We like the true to size fit. They wash well even after spot treats they hold up.
