Why is this called a self cleaning brush?? No clue BUT it’s extremely easy to get the fur back out. All you really need to do is rub in the direction the bristles face and the fur comes out super easy. I have a Samoyed who is currently shedding and it gets to the undercoat so easily! He just had a bath where they removed tons of the shedding and this brush went back in and removed almost another dogs worth of hair! It’s very light weight but does not feel cheap at all. I’ve never used a Chris Christensen brush but I would say that this is a very effective dupe for a fraction of the price. We would spend so much time brushing with a comb to get basically nowhere but in seconds this helps detangle the matting/shedding and pull it out. I would HIGHLY recommend this brush to anyone with a double coated dog especially!

My cat can't get enough of this brush. When she sees it in my hand, she comes running. She gets euphoric when I brush her and after a few minutes she wants to play with it, bites it, grabs it. But best of all, it removes so much loose hair her shedding is down to almost nothing!!! And since there is so much less shedding, I'm more inclined to play with her, pet her, massage her. Before, I could only take so much of the dander coming off of her so I was limited with my affection. Highly recommend.

This is a good brush, but I’m not so sure it’s self cleaning. I use it in my business on a daily basis and it has lasted very well.

This is not self cleaning so that's misleading. As for reducing shedding by 90% that is a matter of opinion. It does brush out a lot of loose hair but has not proven on my dog that it reduces shedding. I have an American Foxhound, Great Pyrenees mix and he sheds 24/7. This is a nice brush but not a miracle worker for high shedders.

This brush is light and comfortable to hold. It works well for removing loose hair and tangles. The bristles are firm but gentle. Easy to clean and good for grooming. I recommend it

Wow!!! All I can say is this brush has changed my life! I usually spent 30-40 minutes brushing out my two miniature goldendoodles every other day. I brushed both of them from head to toe in 10 minutes!!! This brush is amazing and I wish I had knew about it sooner! My fur babies actually enjoyed the feel of this brush and I’m sure they appreciated how fast they were done being groomed! I would give this a million stars if I could! I use this for my sheep skin rug to keep it looking new. It works well.
