I'd been looking for key details about the development of coal industry after WW2, especially the wildcats of coal miners in the 1970s. Corky Seltzer has gathered a mass of valuable info here in one place. The book sometimes adopts an odd tone of faux objectivity that morally equates coal operators and coal miners (in ways that made me blink).... but who am I to judge? The book is valuable, meticulous, and highly readable.
