2 PCS Fence Tensioner Ratchet Handle for Agricultural Fence Strainer Review: Handy gadget - I have been phasing out high tensile wire fencing for my horses, but one six-wire span is holding up well. I couldn't find the small tensioner tool that the fencer people provided several years ago, so I purchased this specialized product and I am very pleased with it. I'm sure it will add years to the life of my existing fence. The size is large enough to get a good grip on and do the job efficiently. Even better, it's a two-piece pack. Nice product. Review: They work. What else is there to say? - I've never installed tensioned wire before, so this was all new to me. These were reasonably priced and much less than my local tractor store. I've used them two different ways. I tried the fork end and that worked ok. I will say that the one I used seemed a little askew. Once I got the forks over the tensioner, it worked as expected. I was able to tighten the wire with just a few ratchets. It also has a square hole in the end of the handle. This can be used similar to a non-ratcheting wrench. The tensioner has a matching square on the axis. I used this for fine tuning, but I greatly prefer it over the ratchet. Can't really complain. I've got two of these tools for less than I could get one locally.

Handy gadget

They work. What else is there to say?

As good as any on the market at a much cheaper price.
Quality is similar to those you can get from the big box stores, but much cheaper on Amazon. Tensions fence just fine.

Much easier than trying to do it by hand
used this to tension electric wires for goat fence. Worked very well.

dont fit ratchets
bought to tighten my hi tensile fence but they wont fit parts purchased at TSC
