Rhysdon Press The Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lion: Vol. 5

This is an intelligent well-written series with endearing characters. A perfect summer cosy read or a perfect winter pick me up. I’m super impressed with this writer.

Enjoyed this series. Read volumes 1-4 first

I am loving this series! Beth Brower's character Emma has no bounds to her wit and hilarity. This volume is steeped in more grief, but also more character growth for Emma. Her band of friends gets stronger, although we tend to see less of Pierce in this book. She gains a new ally in Mrs. Penury. The ending is warm and cozy, and Emma has added to her little library. I am sad that I am more than halfway through the series, and I hope the author can start writing faster 😂.

This series is my #1 favorite. Edenbrooke held that space for a long time, but I love, love, love joining Emma in her adventures. Her friendships are delightful, and I feel smarter after reading. A delight. A joy. A lark. If you're on Book 5, you already know this.
