So convenient!
We live in South Texas and have a wild olive tree, and this is a MUST! I wish I would've gotten one sooner because it makes picking up fallen olives in the yard so easy. I was hesitant to get one because the olives are small (like the size of a pecan), but this works great and picks them all up. My husband put it together in maybe 5min with no complaints.

Works well, wish I had it 20 years ago
We have a giant oak tree in our backyard and a medium oak tree. This year the acorns started dropping early and it can be debilitating just trying to walk across the yard in bare feet. This acorn cage works so well! I had a large pile after maybe just 20 minutes sweeping the yard with it. It will work best once we're caught up and can daily or every other day sweep up the fresh acorns before they've sunk into the lawn. Highly recommended.

Works pretty good!
I use the nut gatherer for acorns. You have to work the item back and forth over the same area many times in order to scoop up nuts. It’s better than picking each nut up individually

It has its pros and cons
Pros: has larger nut cage than most, has a sturdy handle, you can dump “smaller” nuts out of the end, you don’t have to bend down to pick up nuts.Cons: the rings that hold the cage are plastic ( once they start to wear; the cage doesn’t roll as easy), large nuts need to be removed though the wires (my walnuts are the size of baseballs), to break down you need to keep it well greased (segments of handle jam).I collect nuts from side of road; most are the size of tennis balls or smaller this year (high heat & low rain). But the ones I get from yards or fields are tennis balls or bigger (I have to spread the wires to dump them). I climb up & down a lot of ditches (the sturdy handle with cage up, helps me keep from falling)In conclusion I guess it depends on size of nuts and how well you keep it greased.

Easy to use
We had a bumper crop of pecans this year . The roller was easy to assemble and easy to adjust for size of nuts to pick up . Great value for the money. Size was perfect and performed well . Appearance - it’s for picking up nuts.
