I purchased the shorter ones and they are just stunning! I currently have framed photos and other nicknacks on them as well as a potted (live) plant. They, so far, are pretty sturdy. **Q: How much weight can one shelf hold?** A: The shelf is sturdy, 1" thick wood and the included bracket is unique, the bracket mounts flat against the wall and it has two metal prongs that slide into the shelf and the prongs lock into place.
