What's the difference between this and the Flex model?

I actually have a FLEX and an ASTRO side by side. The FLEX is available in a 500 which has more power and battery, while the ASTRO doesn't have a 500 yet. The ASTRO is newer with features like a turn key start, while the FLEX has front suspension, a speedometer/odometer, but no key start. The FLEX is also overall larger, on bigger tires, and with more ground clearance.

Would the size be ok for a 9 year old?
