LASER TOOLS LAS6822 Fuel Line Disconnect Tool

Great for removing fuel lines from my Mk2 Mx5. Saves me wrecking the clips with a screwdriver 😬😂.

There are these on sale and there are the nylon ones, l am glad as heck l bought this metal one, it's nicely made and will last long enough to be of use for years to come.

Bought this to release the connectors on my SAAB automatic transmission cooler pipes which are of the same type as fuel pipe connectors. The tool isn't tremendously well made but it wasn't over expensive and it did the job o.k.

Tool was ok, but the shoulders were too long to fit in to the fitting, had to cut half of the shoulders off to fit, but that was because my fitting on the car had a short distance between the fitting & the main body of the filter.

This product was just what I needed to release the fuel line on my SAAB 9-5 Kombi. There was a little bit of fettling for it to work properly as the space between the boddy of the filter and the nipple wasn't sufficient for me to deploy the tool without trimming the insertable part. All in all though I'm delighted with the item as it saved me driving to a garage with petrol spraying out, thus avoiding any potential explosion!

Does what it says on tin. Laser tools are always reasonably good.

It works. For my Saab 9-5 fuel filter I shortened with hack saw to get access to quick release. Use some penetrating oil as well.
