I guess.... *by D***E on November 14, 2019* I have just recently purchased this product seeing as how I have the air intake system that this is meant for. I live in NY where snow is bad and the road salt is far worse. I figured it might be a good idea to add some extra precautions to keep the filter cleaner and safer. After receiving this, I opened the Amazon packaging to find a tiny little baggy with the filter wrap folded up inside. I could care less about the size of the packaging, and quite frankly appreciate the lack of material waste, but I don’t really know why this is ~$40.00. It seems like this should simply come with the intake system that is already pretty expensive. Maybe i’m crazy or uninformed but this seems like no more than just a treated fabric to cover a filter with. For the price I guess it’s nice to know i’m keeping my filter safe and clean, but i’m curious how much they’re marking this lil fabric up.
