The cable feels sturdy and thick enough to deter casual theft, and the 5-digit combo is a nice upgrade over the usual 4. Setting my own code was easy, and the mount that attaches to the bike is super handy—no need to carry it separately. It’s not industrial-level security, but for everyday errands or locking up at the park, it gets the job done. Feels like good value for the price, and I like the flexibility of the coiled design.

Great luck with very simple password set up instructions.It’s a nice sturdy bike lock which we needed for our little scooter . Slightly safer than the usual lock as you need five digits for your password! It comes with an explantation how to set up your password and you will be all set! It also comes with a little attachment that you install on your bicycle or scooter so that after taking off the lock you can attach it there for the time driving and don’t have to keep it on you or in your purse!The price is the best part as it’s super cheap versus other locks I came across during my search!

I bought this lock to use for my bike. bike.I was concerned it would be a complicated set of directions to set the number code. .I am thrilled to say, it was simple!!!The lock is a decent weight. Not super heavy nor lightweight. I think it’s an appropriate weight for a bike lock.It is easy to put the lock around different areas of my bike. It has good flexibility .I bought it so I could lock my bike up wherever I rode. Whether there was something I could attach it too, or so I could lock it to itself.It is long enough to do both without any difficulty.The color I chose was a blue color. That is only visible around the area of the number code. The rest is black/dark grey.This is a combination lock only, no key available.Having just purchased this lock,I can’t speak to its durability over time. It does have a thick plastic cover that goes over the length of the lock. I believe that will add to its durability.Overall, I am happy with this lock. A great value for the money. I was frustrated with the delivery time.When I decided to order it, it stated it would be delivered the following day. Well that did not happen. Then it was going to be delivered a day or 2 later. Still not delivered.It was frustrating being told it would be delivered on a certain day, only to have the delivery delayed yet again..It happened several times.I don’t know if that is the company’s fault for the several delays, or Amazon’s.. I assume it’s the company’s fault. That was the only issue I had .

I wasn't sure how this would work for my smaller kids, and for different types of ride on accessories. We were pleasantly surprised that it mounted super easily ( and really convenient!) on bikes, scooters and this weird glider scooter thing my son has! IT's easy enough for even the smaller fingers in the family in to manage solo. It's nice to have a key as backup in case the code is misplaced or forgotten. It's long enough to wrap around every place we've needed to use it so far, and seems strong! We're looking at getting matching locks for each of us!

Used lock for about one year and today it failed. Was riding bikes with my wife on a rails to trails, stopped to hike a side trail so we locked the bikes together.Returned from the hike and lock would no longer open with the combination I have used many times.The lock somehow lost its combination memory and we were now stuck walking a long road back to our campsite. Borrowed a hack saw from the park host drove back and was able to free the two bikes.Initially liked this lock for its storage feature, compact size, and of course not needing a key.However can no longer recommend it due to low quality.

I really like that it comes with backup keys too, just in case I forget the combo. It was super simple to set, and I love not having to deal with keys all the time.
