This was exactly what I needed for my tablet and I could not find a proper case elsewhere, I tried 3 different kinds. I actually have a Galaxy Tab S8, and this case fits, BUT I had to make two modifications: I had to cut a notch with a hacksaw on the back under the plastic portion that juts under the camera notch to get the S8 to fit where the flashlight is. I also drilled a small hole through the case where the microphone on the side is (different spot for S8 vs S9. The case covers the S8 fingerprint sensor and the buttons are slightly off, but the all work with the case, and that's fine for me.
