I built an outdoor shower near a shed and used this water heater for the hot side. Yes the description says don’t use for showers. However, it works great for the shower. No restricted flow and had to turn the temp down to 100deg because it was too hot. Good little unit.

The hot water heater did not work to good but the service did refund me for all the issues I went through.

I was impressed with this unit. First, because it was so simple to install. Second, because from reading about it I didn't think it would be able to provide a hot shower, but I bought it anyway for I can't take hot showers never have, but it can deliver a Very hot shower, I turned it down. Third, it doesn't run out of hot water.The one thing I learned from installation, is when you're hooking up the water line fittings to the unit is to use Plumbers paste on the pipe threads instead of Teflon tape, it just works better and is easier to apply!!!

Had to thread on a pipe size adapter to the water inlet pipe that, in turn, allowed use of a dishwasher 90-degree adapter. The only way I could get a leak-free connection.Also, if electrical power glitches, the heater turns OFF and you must touch the power ON button to restore it to operation.

Having issues with hot water and cold water on at the same time and getting ahold of someone is nearly impossible
