I got my necklace in two days, one if you count as soon as it was shipped.It arrived in this blue velvet-lined box and an internal blue velvety soft envelope. I don’t know what the base metal is but it’s pretty heavy. It’s kind of difficult to see the cubic zirconia around the shininess of the gold plating but it may be different outside in the sunlight. The necklace is sturdy and I have faith in its ability to hold the cross pendant. It’s also adjustable for length.The cross has a lot of bling, that’s for sure! I’m not disappointed at all. It’s lovely and I can’t wait to wear it. Absolutely worth what I paid!!

If you are looking for a cross for an 8 or 10 year old this is great. I was looking for a cross the size of the one shown with it. The site pictures do not give a true size. The cross is pretty but not what I expected at all.
