Stylishly simple
I have wanted one of the clocks for ages and now that I am moving away from using my smartphone for everything....including waking me up in the morning....I decided that the time was right. The colour is as advertised. The alarm doesn't make you jump out of your bed so for those heavy sleepers who need a prison yard horn blasting in their ears to rouse them, this might not do the trick. The hands do have some flurescence but not much.....ceetainly not enough to see the hands from a distance. One has to hold the clock up close to see the time. Despite all that, I love this retro clock.

I cannot rate this alarm clock low enough. 1 star is too many.It is cheaply made and unreliable. It does not display the correct time and frequently has to be adjusted, and sometimes the alarm simply doesn’t go off - despite being set to go off. It literally cannot do the two things you want in an alarm clock!Unfortunately, I got rid of the box so can’t return it. What a waste of £14. Don’t make the same mistake as me; DO NOT BUY THIS ALARM CLOCK!

Good alarm but basic features
The alarm is lovely to look at and has a nice loud beep that will definitely wake you up but is pretty basic when it comes to features and there are a few things that could be more advanced. It only allows you to set the alarm on the hour eg 8am or 9am but not 8:30am which means you're limited on when you can have the alarm go off. The clock also doesn't differentiate between am and pm so if you left the alarm on all day it would sound twice a day eg 8am and 8pm so you have to turn the alarm off in the morning and remember to turn it back on at night which some people may forget to do. It also doesn't have a snooze function and the glow in the dark hands are basically useless. These things dont bother me much personally but i imagine they will for other people so just be aware and if you want a alarm with more advanced features this one isn't for you.

Good, efficient service!
I bought this for my mother-in-law for Christmas and she loves it! She is 92 years old so loved both the retro feel and that large numbers. Just like the good old days!
