Skinner's Field & Trial Complete Dry Wheat Gluten Free Puppy Food, 2.5 kg

This is a 2.5kg bag of dry puppy food. It is wheat and gluten free and is intended for working dogs. The pieces are small even cubes and are sized small enough for pups from weaning. This food is energy and nutrition packed. We have tried cheaper varieties and just found the dog got fat, but the breeder gave us a bag of this to take away with us and it is far better. Our 10 week sprocker puppy has grown very fast with this and has had bounds of energy and strength. He wolfed down easily and had no issues eating it. We did also find it had plenty of fibre and kept him regular. They do include a feeding guide in terms of amount compared to weight of dog, but every dog is different and making sure they have meals multiple times a day really helps avoid them pinching food. The smell is surprisingly mild compared to other dog foods too so it's not unpleasant to have a bowl of it sitting out. Good quality, value is questionable but i would not expect something this high quality to cost the same as a supermarket equivalent. Recommended. Thank you for reading my review. a little on the pricey side but good biscuits that both dogs love. ordered a few now. good for digestion, coat and teeth

I have a working Bavarian Mountain Hound who was introduced to this at one of the game fairs and thrived. We had been feeding her on another great make but it made her smell really 'houndy' - the smell went away within days of changing over and has since been fed with field and trial 'maintenence'. When I brought my toy poodle pups home 3 years ago, I fed her with the puppy kibble too - (poodles are notorious for being spoilt, fussy divas- Mabel loved it. When she had her toy poodle pups- no brainer- they were weaned on to this puppy kibble also and seem to build up very quickly. I still feed my dogs fresh meat and fish too which keeps feeding time interesting. Even our foxes like skinners! British owned company and now selling wet food too !
