Fantastic quality, great sound, and very comfortable.
After having used these for nearly 2 years i can safely say that they're the best wireless headphones I've tried, beating out similarly priced Sony's, and a family members Bose headphones. Of course, as it comes to a product like this.. it's purely just my opinion. The app that you can download from Sennheiser is simple and easy to use, giving you the ability to mess around with the EQ or set it to some of the preset ones in the app. The best option for me is the ability to turn off touch controls completely. I'm clumsy and I'm constantly brushing against the right ear cup so that was a huge boon for me. Noise cancelling is good, and gives me less of a... pressure feeling inside the ear cups. It does take some fiddling to set it up right though. On the highest setting wind seems to get through a little bit. but setting it to roughly 3/4 lowers the wind noise while still delivering on cancelling out other noises. The last point i want to touch on is the customer support from Sennheiser. The left ear cup developed a slight ticking noise when NC was on. I filled in the short form and sent it off. I got a reply within 30 minutes giving me instructions on how to ship it to them for repair. Everything was free, and fast. They got my pair at roughly 8AM and by 5PM the same day they had sent me out a brand new pair. So overall i'm happy with the product, and happy with the company.

Sennheiser Momentum 4
The Sennheiser Momentum 4 headphones offer a premium audio experience that justifies their higher price point. The fact that you find them to be very good after extended use speaks volumes about their sound quality and overall performance. The infinitely adjustable features likely contribute to a personalized listening experience, allowing you to fine-tune the audio to your preferences. Comfort is a crucial aspect of any pair of headphones, and it's excellent to hear that the Momentum 4 provides a comfortable fit. This is particularly important for long listening sessions, making them suitable for extended use without causing discomfort or fatigue. The extended battery capacity is another positive aspect, ensuring that you can enjoy your music for an extended period without constantly worrying about recharging. This is especially beneficial for those who are often on the move or use their headphones for long periods throughout the day. While the price may be steep, the combination of exceptional audio quality, adjustable features, comfort, and long battery life make the Sennheiser Momentum 4 headphones a worthwhile investment for audio enthusiasts or individuals who prioritize a top-notch listening experience. Overall, it seems like you've found a high-quality and reliable pair of headphones that deliver on their promises.

Bye Bye Sony
I have been a Sony WH1000 series headphone user from 2016, but they have now become so expensive. £399 is a ridiculous price to pay. I purchased these Sennheiser's Momentum 4's instead for £161 and I can honestly say these perform just as well if not better in terms of the sound quality. The bass is just incredible. The build is just as good as the Sony and I find them more comfortable than the WH1000MK6 when I tried them a friend's. The noise cancelling is very good, but the Sony MK6 have the edge (if you want to pay more the double). No thanks Sony.

Disappointing, buggy headphones, *if* they don't develop a fault.
I'll start with the most egregious negative first; I'm on my second pair of Momentum 4's. The original pair I sent back to Sennheiser for RMA, because they started crackling in the left earcup. Now, this pair has started crackling, also in the left ear cup. I bought my original pair for £209 on October 9th 2024. I am writing this October 21st 2025. That makes two pairs of headphones, exhibiting the same fault in just over ONE YEAR. I won't bother RMA-ing this pair, since I expect I'll just get the same issue in another 6 months. To be clear, I've used them with factory settings, apart from enabling AptX HD. They haven't been exposed to water, and I listen at about 30-40% volume. If you're still considering buying these for some reason, the pros and cons are as follows. Pros: * The sound quality is decent, though not amazing given the price. * The companion app is surprisingly functional (and doesn't require sign-in, amazing!), with a 5 band EQ, access to ANC settings, and an option to prefer AptX HD when using Bluetooth. * The battery life is decently long, I can't give an exact number, but I found I only needed to charge every 5-7 days or so, with on and off usage, and the headphones are decently comfortable. Cons: * The headphones are 100% plastic, including the earcup hinges, which creak if you dare move while wearing them. * The active noise cancellation is present, but more noise reduction than cancellation. Fortunately, you can disable wind reduction in the app, which improves the noise cancellation, but, unsurprisingly, increases wind noise. On a positive note, the transparency mode is surprisingly transparent! * The Bluetooth playback in AptX HD mode is weirdly spotty, sometimes it's rock solid, staying connected through multiple walls, and sometimes it hitches at less than a meter away. I've found that the Qualcomm Wi-Fi/Bluetooth chipset in my laptop is more reliable than the Realtek one in my ThinkPad, and most surprisingly, better even than the BTD600 dongle. * The final issue; sometimes, the controls decide they don't want to work properly. Sometimes, both the volume up and down gestures *increase* the volume. Sometimes, taking the headphones off doesn't pause the currently playing media, but putting them back on does. Sometimes, tapping the right earcup (the play/pause gesture) when connected to two devices - a selling point of these headphones - doesn't pause the currently playing content, but starts whatever was last playing *on the other device*. Even ignoring the quality (control?) issues, I probably wouldn't recommend these headphones. The build is subpar, the ANC - again, a selling point - is *far* behind the competition, and the Bluetooth is far flakier than other headphones I've tried, and that's saying something.

Pleasant purchase till now
First felt sound irritating, but after trials with EQ and personalised sound, much better now. It's great for people who like to listen to the details of the music , while could be strange for people like smooth warm sound (matter of preference now). The case is handy and has everything inside which is great. The presentation is stunning ,the details and the look, even the build is great (didn't tried it for long term to see durability). Comfort wise not the best but not bad at all. Call sound is good, could sound bit buffed sometimes, but general speaking good. Fit quite good.

Try Lorde's Pure Heroin album 3) Audio Quality Wired : Now it's a game changer as it is THE ONLY HEADPHONE WHICH CAN PLAY LOSSLESS OVER USB C and using mac I even don't need any amp 4) App : significantly improved and now it's flawless. 5) Equaliser : If you want to tweak its signature you can do it easily(5 Bands) 6) Noise Cancellation : easily handles Flight, City noise, Weird Neighbours 7) Bluetooth: Excellent range, 3 BHK house no problem at all + 2 Devices connected at same time 8) Call : No complaint over call by 2nd person ever 9) Comfort : 6-7 hours daily (Music + Podcast ) , very comfortable 10) PS5/TV/other Device: No lag in gaming(Connect it to Controller) or TV or Laptop 11) Rivalry: Best in segment-> Audio quality LOSSLESS + Biggest battery + decent NC (Deadly Combo) Cons: Just Nitpicking 1) Noise Cancellation: If your GF scream at you, it cannot handle it , THE TRUTH , Wished lil bit more NC HEADPHONE BUYING and USING GUIDELINE : 1) Only buy if you really love listening to music + Invest in best Music app (LOSSLESS) Apple Music 2) Headphone can't be used for exercise,Long travel -> sweat + Fast head movement + unhygienic, Use Earbud 3) Tweak EQ according to your taste 4) For long hour listening, be in AC room and also take break to rest your ears 5) For best experience-> keep calm ,low lights ,Comfortable Sitting ,Eyes closed,Only listening and no work nothing Nutshell: After using only professional headphones and studio monitors, I was lacking colour of Consumer products and it gave me what I was missing. Been down a rabbit hole and researching for about a month before deciding on the Sennheiser Momentum. Went to some local stores to try out all of the popular headphones but went in with a certain list of priorities (in order); 1) Sound Quality 2) Comfort 3) Portability 4) Noise Cancelling 5) Battery life Contenders on the list were: - Bose QC ultra: Amazing ANC, great portability, decent sound quality but a bit on the dull side. - Sony XM4 & XM5: Bassy but flat and muffled sound, great ANC and portability. Avoid the XM5 at all costs though, the hinges are a major design flaw. - Sennheiser Momentum 4: Blows everything else out of the water in terms of sound quality, same for the battery life. Not quite as portable as the QC ultra's and XM4s but comes with a great case nontheless. - B&W PX7: Didn't get a chance to try these out. Pro's; If you prioritise sound quality over anything else then it's an easy choice, nothing comes close to it in this price range. Track separation, bass, clear vocals... it's all there and it's an immersive listening experience. The ANC might not be as good as Bose or Sony but it's certainly nowhere near bad ANC performance. I recently brought these on multiple flights and trains with me and have 0 complaints. After having used Airpods Pro's for about 2 years I can confidently say that the transparency mode on the Momentums is pretty comparable too, which is a great thing. The controls (despite being touch) work surprisingly well but keep in mind that fingerprints are pretty visible on the black versions. As for the case it comes with, it looks a lot larger on the product page than it actually is in person. It's also very sturdy and packs some smart features which have worked flawlessly so far. When it comes to battery life... well it's probably the best on the market right now and almost feels like a challenge to drain it. If you don’t need the absolute best ANC on the market and want something that just objectively sounds better than any other consumer headphone in the €300 range, then the Momentums are a clear winner.

I bought used and I'm not disappointed. The seller posted an accurate description. As for the headphones themselves, I completely love them. I used Sony's XM4s before this, until the noise canceling decided to go haywire. I've also used the newer XM6s from Sony. In terms of noise canceling, the Momentum 4 isn't bad. But if you directly compare to the XM6, it's very obvious that Sony is at the top in that department. With the Momentum 4, you can experience a separation from the environment, but things like loud trucks, train rumble, etc will likely bleed through at normal listening volumes. I'd say it's acceptable noise canceling, and certainly I wouldn't call it bad. Just not as good as Sony. Sound-wise though, I just love the Sennheiser. They sound fuller with clearer separation between lows, mids, and highs. Wider general soundstage as well. I wouldn't consider myself an audiophile by any means, but the difference is clear. Sennheiser just has a better sound imo. Style-wise I think Sennheiser kills it here as well. Very classy, and I feel happy to wear them. I love the cloth headband. I use Sennheiser HD600s at home, and it's not a stretch to say that they have a similar sound. Obviously open back wired headphones and wireless noise canceling headphones can't be directly compared. But after trying some other headphones, I see myself sticking with Sennheiser for the foreseeable future.
