This Ram works with Synology DS1618+! Wow, logistics these days are truly lightning-fast! I placed my order, and within a day the goods were in the US. Two days later, they arrived in Hong Kong and were delivered to my door. It only took four days total from ordering to delivery using standard shipping—that's actually faster than ordering from Taobao to Hong Kong! Amazon's service is incredibly efficient. I struggled for a long time trying to upgrade my DS1618+ from 4GB RAM because I couldn't find the right product on Taobao or locally in Hong Kong. Installed in a Synology DS923+ when I bought the NAS. It was recognized w/o a hitch, been working w/o a hitch for over a year. It’s one of those items that if it works as intended you’ll never know that it’s working- set and forget essentially.

My DS1522+ already came with one 8GB stick. This was extremely easy to install and despite synology DSM claiming it “may not be” compatible, it is 100% compatible and in perfect working order. Big upgrade for a very cheap price! No brainer purchase.

+ works with speeds as advertised. + fair value from seller considering it’s a low volume import + good packaging Since I’m using it in my DS923+ Synology NAS, I did not test extended speeds or overclocking (which is how usually quality is inferred.) One interesting observation - these sticks run cooler and does not get as hot.

I upgraded the RAM in my Synology NAS quite a while back with these modules. The NAS has been running full time with a large number of add-ons running as well. I've never had an error or a hiccup from this RAM. I'd buy again in a heartbeat.
