Oprah's Favorite Things - 8 Inch German Steel Chef Knife W/Italian Olive Wood Forged Handle

Cooking used to take me forever because chopping and slicing took me so long. This knife is unbelievably sharp and the perfect size for all sorts of meal prep. It was an incredible value for the money. The cover is great to protect yourself from getting cut when you put it away and the knife is very comfortable to hold. Gives off very high quality vibes.

I needed new knives and bought a known expensive chef knife. Would cost a small fortune for all of them. I saw Oprah’s favorite and read the reviews. I decided to try the paring knife. I was shocked how beautiful, well made and sharp it is. I’ve now have gone back for two others and will be purchasing others. I would recommend the knife block set as an amazing gift to self or others.

This is a great little knife. It's sharp and the olivewood handle has a nice feel. It has a cute little cover for the tip of the blade. I like it so much I got one for my mom when she asked for a new knife. My mom is tiny and has small hands and still found this easy to handle. I would buy it again.

The blade is curved but it's s good knife I used it a year now sharpens nice and stays sharp for like if 500 carrots and onions

So far I have ordered two of these knives, different sizes. Excellent quality. They provide a sharp clean cut.

If you are like me, in that I cannot afford nor justify expensive cutlery, this one should do. It comes pretty sharp but can use a little finish sharpening. Also the handle was not quite finished enough- I had to use steel wool to finish it. That said, I would probably buy it again.

For my birthday I decided I wanted a new chef knife, so I started shopping and researching. I had decided to get myself a great, professional, German steel, and had chosen one at about 3x the price. Well, before buying I mentioned this to a friend who is currently attending cooking school and he suggested I check this one out. So I did.I ended up getting this full-tang, German steel knife and wow - I couldn't be happier. Blade is REMARKABLE at this price point - the thick steel holds an Edge like crazy, even after I've modified the angle to 17° (SHARP sharp). The balance is out of this world. I don't much care about the handle material but this Olive wood is gorgeous. The shape of the handle fits my medium size male hands perfectly and I feel like I have surgical control when cutting both meat and veggies. It feels like it will last forever in my hands.I would have easily paid 3x the price for this knife.
