It is well crafted, with a solid stainless bottle, threads, and lid. This is important since we use high pressure to make instant extracts for cocktails and food flavorings. It handles both hot and cold items well, dispensing beautiful mousses, whips, and creams. It has a generous 1-pint capacity, and there is a fairly well-defined max fill line inside the canister. With proper care and cleaning, this should last a lifetime. I think we'll be needing to purchase a second unit just to avoid fighting over this one. I had to return the first one because the charge holder became stripped during the first few uses, rendering the thing unusable. I bought this because it was all stainless steel or at least some kind of metal. I wanted that so that maybe it would not leak like the plastic ones.I purchased a replacement and it didn't cross-thread, but it is so hard to screw in the charge that my wife can't even use it.
