Easy enough to mount and remove on my convertible. One twist and it is off. Compact and practical, no nasty rubbery glue on the suction cup that will be impossible to remove from the windshield as the previous one I owned. Good value for the money and goes to show that simple sometimes is better than complex.

I bought this mount as a replacement after the original one that came with my radar detector broke, and so far it’s been working great. It was easy to install and fit my Uniden detector without any issues.The suction cup feels sturdy and holds well on both the windshield and dashboard. I bought this to replace the original one. It was very easy to set up and install. I've now had this for well over a year and it still works like brand new. I move my radar detector between my two vehicles often and it always seats and secures flawlessly.

Doesn’t fit the uniden r8 correctly. Had to jam it in to get it to work. Suction stopped working after a couple months and the radar kept rotating down because the screw holding it in place isn’t strong enough

has come loose once or twice and will tilt from time to time. but ive taken it on multiple 15 hour road trips with rougher terrain and its stayed stuck for the most part.

So, it’s compatable with the R3 (+2 stars)The sturdiness is lacking greatly. It’s not strong enough even after tightening it up aggressively. (-1 star)It feels quite cheap (-1 star) even tho it was like $12 (+1 star)Suction is good (+1 star)Easy to take off the window (no stars)Suction cup is good quality (+1 star)Summary: the two major issues is the angle that it goes too. You can adjust the angle but the teeth prevent fine tuning so my detector faces too far upward or slightly downwards (depending on you window angle). And it’s very loose, doesn’t feel stiff enough to handle bumps with my stock (sport) suspension. It’s not the worst but not the best. Does the job.

I was hesitant to buy this at first because of some negative reviews, but I’m glad I did. It works perfectly on my Uniden radar, no vibrations, no falling off, and it stays firmly in place on both the windshield and the dashboard. It does exactly what it’s supposed to. I bought it more than 6 months ago.

I have had my Uniden DFR9 Detector in my windshield for almost 4 years. It has fallen down several times and the small twin suction cups deformed enough that they no longer worked. This replacement has only one larger suction cup and an additional adhesive ring to make sure that it is secure. It comes with two different lengths of clips for different detectors.The only issue I have had so far is that the angle tenoning screw seems to back off and I don't feel that I want to over tighten it as I fear that I may break it. Every now and then I have to re angle the unit and tighten. My suspension is quite stiff and may exacerbate the issue.

Got today (which btw came late) and suction cup won’t even stick to my windshield, the box it was in was opened already, beat up, and damaged, and a bag with extra screws, mount piece, and screw driver came which screw driver was all damaged and wrecked (will be submitting pics) don’t know if this is companies fault or delivery but still product was paid for and was in a damaged box with damaged pieces and won’t even work.

Can not tell the difference between this and the OEM one. Stays on in summer and winter

Little difficult to stick the radar on it’s a tight fit, but other than that, it works good
