I have had eczema for decades. It started coming up late in high school and has stuck around since. The last 4 years it has loved to pop up on my eye lids, under eye, nose, & forehead. My eczema is often triggered by warm weather or an allergen. The flare ups on my face only show up when I'm under very high stress. This lotion is a god send. I didn't know what I could use for my eye lids and under eyes. Even the most mild, gentle moisturizer would burn like hell. Not this stuff. It's gentle but thick. You know it is getting the job done. Did it completely vanish the eczema? No. It did, however, make a massive difference in the redness, flakiness, itchiness, and length the flare up lasted. WORTH. EVERY. PENNY.

I was diagnosed with eczema about 7 years ago. Sometimes cortisone creams would help, but they would also burn bad flare ups around my mouth and eyes. Hormones and I suspect an allergy to nail products trigger the flare ups. I don’t like the idea of being dependent on cortisone creams and noticed they thinned out the skin by my mouth. I wanted to seek an alternative, so I looked into this cream and have been using it for over two months. I will say that I have oily, acne-prone skin, so I wasn’t sure if this cream would be suitable for my skin type at first. My skin soaks it right up! I did get one pimple during the first week of using it, but it hasn’t caused any acne breakouts. More importantly, my skin is so soft and smooth since incorporating this into my routine. I’d say it’s best for maintenance and should follow regular light exfoliation. I haven’t had any of my bad monthly flare ups since using this. I’ve had light eczema dryness, but this helps to soothe and soften the skin. It might make my skin ever so slightly shinier throughout the day, but that can easily be blotted. I really don’t care if it does because the benefits outweigh the tiny bit of extra shine. Finally, for those who wear makeup, I let this settle into my skin before applying any makeup and it sets beautifully. When I’ve rushed applying makeup, there’s an area by my eye where my eye cream and this cream meet and that tends to result in a weird pilling if I don’t let the creams settle first. I also have the lighter version of this that I purchased at the same time. I haven’t used it at all yet because I use this day and night. I’ll post a review for that one when I have used it for some time. This is worth the try!

This item has singlehandedly saved my skin this winter. I am prone to eczema and it usually flares in the summer and winter. Usually it's not that bad and I can manage it. This year however, it the worst it's ever been. My skin has gotten so dry and cracked and not only is it extremely painful, but itchy. It's on my dominant hand too so I've had to resort to using bandaids to cover it just to function. A friend suggested this and it has made my life significantly easier. My eczema is not completely gone yet due to the cold and dryness in the air due to winter but it has improved a ton! It also helps with the unbearable itch.

Perfect for Accutane users! I prefer this to cera ve/la roche posay/vanicream. It’s the perfect texture and absorbs beautifully! It is super hydrating while being lightweight yet dense. I use it daily and notice more dryness if I use something else. Though it’s directed towards eczema it’s great if you are on Accutane as well

I gave La Roche-Posay's eczema cream a shot for my eczema flare-ups, and here's the real deal: it's great for moisturizing but didn't quite hit the mark for my flare-ups. It kept my skin feeling soft and hydrated, sure, but when it came to the main event - tackling those pesky flare-ups on my face - it just didn't stand up to the task. I had to switch back to my trusty cortisone, which honestly did a way better job. I ended up using this cream more as a general body moisturizer. It's okay for that, but if you're looking for something to combat serious flare-ups, this might not be your hero product. And about the tube - it's kind of a pain to squeeze out the last bits of the cream. It's like you know there's more in there, but good luck getting it out! A little redesign could go a long way in making sure you can use up every last drop. Overall, it's a decent moisturizer, but for those tough eczema moments, you might want to keep looking. And a little tweak in the tube design wouldn't hurt, either!

I have rosacea, eczema and an allergy to water. This is one of the only products that minimizes my skin irritation, leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized, and reduces redness.

This stuff is so great!! I had really bad eczema on my hands. I work in the medical field and I wash my hands a lot everyday. I have been using this for 3 days and my hands look so much better. It’s not greasy and makes your skin feel normal again. You must buy this if you have eczema!! I finally have hope that my hands will look normal again.

Compré este producto porque mi Bebé tenía mucha comezón en su piel y tenía zonas de irritación y otras con aspereza. Su piel siempre ha sido delicada y de tendencia atópica. Esta crema le quitó las zonas asperas que eran persistentes. Complementa ideal con Lipikar Baume AP. Son distintas. Esta crema de avena tiene una consistencia muy suave y eliminó las asperezas y comezón. También le ayudó a mi bebé cuando tuvo urticaria alimenticia.
