Really nice hair. No smell. Light on my head. Doesn't feel heavy at all. 3 weeks in and it srill looks good. Received a ton of complaints.

I love how my hair looks when I get it professionally braided or twisted, but I'm over paying $120 and sitting for 6 hours (although it's always fun to hear the stylists talking smack to each other in French). I was interested in seeing how crochet locs could compare to what my hair looks like when I have it done, and I have to say that I'm completely pleased by the whole thing. This hair is great! Keeping in mind some of the reviews here, and what I've seen about chemicals on synthetic hair, I soaked the bundles in a mixture of lukewarm water and apple cider vinegar when I received them. I agitated them a bit and then left them to sit for 30 minutes, but no chemicals came off. Not gonna lie, I was a bit disappointed! I wanted to see some gross chemicals rise off the hair, but I'm sure I'm better off that they were never there to begin with. I'm on day 3 of wearing these, and they have not irritated the skin on my scalp or where the ends of the locs touch my skin. How'd I do it? Starting 3 inches in, I cornrowed my hair (not necessary though if you don't know how/don't want to, I watched several youtube videos that showed workarounds for this). I left the front free to do individual braids, which I then hid in the loc (Briana Tahari's Lazy Girl Crochet Locs video on youtube was particularly helpful). I used all 6 bundles because I had them, but I could have gotten away with using fewer. As it is, my hair is VERY full and it doesn't look bad but it's hard to put up when I need the hair off my face. Pros: The whole thing took just over 2 hours, and that was only because I had a bit of difficulty hiding the individual braids in the locs. Everyone thinks my hair looks amazing and nobody knew I did it myself until I told them. Cons: The latch was a little flimsy but got the job done.

I am wondering what happened to the quality of this product. Since March 2022 I have consistently used Karida Curly Goddess Locs for my crochet braids, loving the texture and the staying power of the braids. I received compliments practically every week. I order 2 packages on December 31, 2022. The new order was in different packaging than before, now in a purple package vs the usual clear packaging. I redid my hair in late February 2023 using the latest purchase. This time the hair started to tangle by week 2. By week 4 it was a tangled mess, having to constantly break the tangles and cut out shedding hair before going out. And I do sleep in a satin large bonnet each night. I do wish I could get the original product before the packaging changed. Update: changing to 4 stars. I ordered another package and the quality was better. But not as good as my purchases before the packaging changed. Still the locs look great and I constantly receive numerous compliments.

I love it this crochet hair. It's worth buying it's soft and pretty. My hair didn't tangle up at for me. It itch a little bit but not much.

Very great quality

There are a lot of sellers on Amazon intentionally selling bundles of crochet locs that isn't enough hair and not selling single packs at all which would require buyers to purchase double and having too much hair (side eye emoji). This seller is the only one I've found that truly provides closest to enough hair for normal sized heads. I love the curly locs with curly ends and curly strands, but the curly strands get tangled and nappy too quick so I purchased human blend deep wave bulk braiding hair in both 1B and 30 (in same pack) for $24 and added to these locs for even more fullness. I used one dab of crazy glue on the knots and rolled it into the loc with my fingers. I added curly strands to only two of the packs and only to the front and crown of my head. I did this before adding the locs to my hair using my folding dinner tray table and a removable Command adhesive hook to hold the loc while I added in the curly hair. This hair does not give me the creepy itch and the loops are easy to knot. Even though I used every single strand, it isn't heavy and can be easily put up in a ponytail during workouts. Definitely recommend and would buy again.

Love this hair. It was just the right length, color, and manageable. I would definitely recommend. Great price and it was enough hair in the packs to cover my entire head although I didn't use all of it.

UPDATE: After two weeks, the locs are so tangled. Constantly shedding and attaching to each other, creating frizz. I planned to leave them in six weeks but I’ll probably remove after four weeks. The curly ends are not super tangled, just not as pretty looking as they grow more ragged. Will not repurchase. Amazing!! I did individual crochet and my gosh, so beautiful! Super, super soft. This is color T1B/30, but there is very little 1B lol. That’s not a problem for me. I got the long length to make sure they fully covered my own hair. I’ve never worn hair this long (the curls fall right at my hips and I’m nearly 5’8”. Nonetheless, they’re still very lightweight and I’m feeling great. Love love love, I will definitely re-purchase for my honeymoon.
