The veterinarian recommended this product because regular beef jerky has way too much salt. I gave one piece each to both cats and an hour later heard one cat vomiting very hard. I went to find him and noticed he threw up the jerky along with a lot of white foam. I went to get paper towels and saw our other cat vomited exactly the same manner. This product caused separate cats to vomit about the same time.
