I bought this sturdy little book to prepare for a 2 week trip to Tuscany. It far exceeded expectations, it is full of clearly laid out information from sightseeing to ordering food, counting in Italian, traffic regulations, transportation, photos, maps, day trip suggestions, amazingly clear maps and much more.Small and sturdy it travels well in a purse or backpack. From now on I will always look for a DK Eyewitness guide when traveling.

Great guide. Really clearly laid out and easy to find what you need. Great maps at front and back and great pull out map.Like the top ten pages of things to do, places to eat etc.Gives good idea for a whole day of sightseeing too.

These guide books provide 2 important elements:1. Up to date information2. A visual preparation for what to expect .A good supplement for all travellers

Very useful lots of information and great plasticised map which folds up small, so easy to pop in your pocket when out and about.
