Excellent stain remover for Pilot G2 pen ink that was DRIED onto synthetic fibers. My experience: 1. My pilot G2 exploded on a room-mate's clothes 2. I initially tried Amodex on the cotton-containing fabrics, and it didn't work. 3. I tried Amodex on PURELY SYNTHETIC fabrics and it worked perfectly, removing EVERYTHING (given enough brushing) Only smidge of a downside is that all of the brushing I did wore the fabrics slightly, but this is a minor complaint and well worth it considering it removed ink-stains from clothes that were already put through the dryer. NOTE: be sure to place a paper towel or other disposable fabric underneath where you are scrubbing. Amodex frees the ink from your clothes, but also carries it onto whatever is behind it. You wouldn't want to transfer your stain from the front of your pants to the back! Thanks Amodex!

I ordered this to remove ink stains from my purse lining and it worked like a charm. Note that it was partially successful on an ink stain I had previously treated with alcohol, but that warning was on the box. So far it has removed every stain I’ve tried it on. Great product, well worth the price.

I’m seriously impressed with this Amodex Ink & Stain Kit—it’s one of those products you don’t realize you need until you try it. I tested it on a few tough stains (including pen ink and a mystery grease spot), and it worked like magic. Even stubborn marks that I thought were permanent faded dramatically or disappeared completely. The included brushes make a big difference—they help work the solution deep into fabrics without damaging them. I also like that it’s versatile enough to handle everything from Sharpie to food stains, so it’s become my go-to for quick cleanups. A little goes a long way, and it’s already saved a couple of items I was ready to toss. Definitely a must-have for any household—super effective and easy to use!

I have a toddler so I’ve had a few experiences with permanent markers on various items. This product does not work on those types of stains. It is terrible. It will improve it.. but just enough to still make you crazy. The only time I’ve ever had this fully remove a permanent marker is when it was very lightly marked on (not a lot of pressure)- and that was still a journey. I bought this kit because I thought, hey! Maybe I need the magic brushes in here. Total waste of money and time. I wouldn’t waste my money. Miss Mouths Messy Eater is a great treater! it removes pan, all sorts of hard to treat stains, and while it does remove permanent marker, pretty well out of upholstery, and also does not do well clothing and bedding, but I would recommend it over this product for tough stains. If it’s Sharpie? Just kiss it goodbye or be ok with a partial stain remaining. 😫

This stuff is by far the only stain remover that will remove my husband’s annoying industrial oil stains, underarm sweat stains, and pen ink marks from his work uniform. I followed the instructions by placing a napkin under the shirt stain and dousing it with the remover and scrubbing with the brushes included. Just throw it in the washer after, and watch the magic happen. If your husband/ partner gets dirty like a child, this is a huge must have!

It only did a moderate job on removing ink from leather and it never remove a food stain from clothing after 3 attempts, in fact it looks worse now than before it was used.

Works better than most other similar products!

I got grease on my dress khaki pants, I applied remover, brushed in, let sit overnight and the grease was gone after washing them. Follow instructions! Did a good job on ink spots on dress shirt also.
