I was disappointed in the colour of the paste. It was too red. I have had this dish several times at a Thai restaurant and the gravy is a creamy beige in colour similar to stroganoff & the only red in it is red chillies. However, the taste was acceptable with the recommended herbs/spices.

It's the same paste as I've seen used in a Thai restaurant (when I attended their cooking course)...Thai restaurant cuisine in your own home! The product came as expected with quick delivery.

As with Nittaya masaman curry paste this is far and above the best curry paste I've tried. Another reviewer has again criticised the colour suggesting it should be beige, but the only thai curry that light in colour would be yellow curry paste. Personally I love this brand of curry paste; it's much more fragrant than other thai brands such as mai ploy, and infinitely tastier & more authentic than western supermarket brands or chinese attempts such as amoy.

More on the mild side, but really tasty.

Panäng ist gerade zum besten Curry der Welt gewählkt worden.....ich finde es schwer das einzuordnen, aber wenn Curry, dann mit Nittaya... Meine Frau kommt aus Thailand und kennt den Nittaya Laden in Banglampoo in dem man Curry Pasten frisch kaufen kann. Es gibt viele Curry Pasten....Nittaya halten wir für am ausgewogendsten, am besten ballanciert, denn die thailändische Küche ist Weltmeister darin die 7 Geschmackssinne in Harmonie zu bringen.... Unserer Meinung nach kann. Nittaya das am besten - wir empfehken dazu Aroy D oder Chao Koh Kokosmussmilch

Auch dieses Nittaya Produkt kann ich nur empfehlen. Wer die Thai-Küche mag wir dieses Produkt lieben. Mit dieser Paste lässt sich in kürzester Zeit ein wirklich authentisches Curry zaubern, welches original wie im Urlaub in Thailand / Singapur schmeckt. Meine Favoriten sind die grüne und die rote Currypaste, aber auch die gelbe oder die "Panang" Paste sind sehr zu empfehlen. Wem die 1 kg Packungen zu groß sind (für 2 Personen reichen ca. 50 g), dem seien die 50 g Portionspackungen empfohlen, die aber im Verhältnis deutlich teurer sind.
