These worked as expected. However, the instruction sheet was for connectors #2AWG and higher, while this product is for #4-14AWG. Therefore, the instructions did not say what size hex wrench was needed (1/8") and the torque required.

These 2 port insulated connectors are great. I used 3 of them to splice #6 stranded copper romex for a 60 amp sub panel in my garage. I taped all 3 connectors and wires for extra protection and to guard against possible arcing. Price was much better than Home Depot or Lowes. Will definitely use again when splicing #10 or heavier wire.

I purchased the 4-14AWG version of this to use in a junction box for my hardwired EVSE. Overall, these are great connectors and if you're doing work with larger wire gauges that typically support higher current applications, these make for a much more solid connection than something like wire nuts. Installation is easy - strip the wire, insert the wire, tighten the hex bolt, and then replace the insulation caps on the holes for the hex bolt. There was a bit of anti-oxidant gel in each wire hole, so that's a nice touch. I only give these four stars because the instruction slip that was shipped with these did not have specifications for the 4-14AWG connectors, only those for much larger wire gauges. I attempted to follow the torque specs for the larger wire connectors, but applying 60 inch-pounds of torque to these small connectors while holding them would be largely impossible. However, these are a great value for the money. At the big box store, they wanted something like $25 for one of these by the big name brand. I got 5 for about the same price.

Works well Be sure you have the correct Alan size which is 1/8 inch

Have not used yet .but appear to be the perfect choice to hook up electric oven.look well built and completely rubber insulated

I had to connect aluminum wire to 6 awg copper wire for 50 amp service. These connectors are excellent and very safe. They do take up room in the electrical box.

Good connectors, cost effective and good material used.

Made a solid connection between 4/3 NMD-90 and Teck cable. Expensive but easy to use, and good quality. Each one has a small sticker with Standards insignia on it.
