I'm a sucker for hydration drink mixes and I've tried dozens. This one isn't awful, but there's some changes I'd like to see before I'd order it again. Pros: not too sweet, and sweetener flavor isn't artificial Strong, label says to use 2 scoops and I only used 1 No artificial colors Not too sour Cons: Has a slightly chalky texture The flavor is lacking. I couldn't define a distinct flavor. Overall, this drink is just ok but not amazing. I'm gonna use the rest of the container and see if I can make something better with it, a sort of mocktail. Although ideally in a drink like this, I would just scoop and shake.

If you're not into hydration formulas that have added sugar, this isn't for you. There isn't a ton of sugar added, but it's enough to where the product does taste sweet--like LiquidIV. Honestly, the product is very similar to LiquidIV. The taste of this one is bomb dot com. I had the blueberry Acai flavor and I diluted my product to one scoop for 3 cups of water. I had this with me on a 3 hour bike ride and it fueled me in terms of making sure I never felt dehydrated. I'd buy it again.

My husband has Epilepsy and his seizures are primarily triggered by dehydration. We're no strangers to electrolyte powders and drinks! We've tried dozens of varieties and flavors. Some have been great, others have been terrible, but most fall in the middle. This jar of powder is small and which makes it easy to take with you on the go. It comes with a plastic scoop for easy measuring and each serving is two scoops added to 4-8 oz of water. In my opinion, this makes the flavor a little too strong. I used a 28 oz bottle and filled it with cold water and two scoops of powder and the flavor was perfect. The powder is full of good ingredients that help with hydration but it does have added sugar. We try to stay away from sugar whenever possible but it's a small amount compared to many other beverages out there. The flavor is good, not fantastic, but I've definitely tried worse-tasting powders. It's berry-forward but has the typical salty background which is necessary for powders like this. I'm very pleased by how the powder dissolves when used in a bottle. I don't care to stir powders like this in a cup, I've found it works best when you can shake the bottle periodically to keep everything from settling. I didn't notice any grittiness or chunks of powder in the bottom of the bottle. For 15 servings, this isn't a terrible price. If you were to purchase bottles of an electrolyte drink you'd pay at least $1 per bottle. I found that the flavor was excellent in more than the recommended ounces which tells me this is going to save me money compared to buying the popular bottled products on the shelves of our local grocery stores.

Since this hydration drink mix is a product of SaltWorks, Inc., I should have expected it to have a distinctly salty taste. However I was hoping for more blueberry açai (this flavor is more generic "red" and kind of faint if you use the number of scoops recommended) and less salt (yep, it's pretty darned salty). Overall it's all right, and it does mix well in plain old cold water, but I'd want the fruit flavor pumped up and the salt flavor toned down before I'd consider buying it again. If a salty hydration drink is your thing, you might love this.

Why does this taste salty!? I know you need sodium in hydration/electrolyte drinks…but maybe this one has too much? The first thing I noticed when trying is that you can literally taste the salt. That's definitely not what I want my drinks to taste like. On the bright side, if you can get past the salty flavor, the blueberry/acai flavor is nice and the color is super pretty! I think what I'll be doing with it is mixing it super mildly into other drinks just so that it doesn't go to waste. That all being said, I personally would not order this again in the future. It just does not suit my palette!
