Darjeeling has been my favorite tea since I was introduced to it 20 years ago by a co-worker from India. I can no longer find this variety in my local grocery stores, so was delighted to land upon this large size box here at Amazon. The tea was fresh, well-packaged, and a great value for the price. If you routinely enjoy black tea, you might find Darjeeling a refreshing change of pace: same black tea health benefits but a somewhat lighter flavor that's highly refreshing. Makes excellent iced tea as well. Twinings is a brand known for longstanding excellence, and they do not fail in this offering which is packaged for ease of storage with individually wrapped tea bags in the classic style.

Gently caffeinated! Delightful flavor! I drink one strong caffeinated cup of tea to start my morning. My second cup is this wonderfully delicious, delicately caffeinated treat! For the rest of the day, I drink decaffeinated or herbal teas. My favorite cup of the day is always Darjeeling!

We cannot purchase this tea locally. We drink it every day. It’s a great black tea.
