I am a pensioner with health issues so I built the drawers and the unit on my coffee table while sitting on my couch. I took my time, resting between drawer making and the unit assembly. It took about 6 hours but, I did not rush it, stopped for tea breaks and rests; it was hard to do but I don’t have much energy. The unit and drawers are solid wood, the back and drawer bases are hardboard. The drawers’ runners are made of MDF, unusual but very effective. The sliding of the drawers is smooth. I am very happy with the results of the two units I bought and built. I decided not to return it, but to use wood clue to fix it as best as was possible. The finished drawers look good (as long as you don't look closely!), it is just a shame the product is so fragile. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ low cost easy to assemble SOLID when built *by L***B on 16 March 2026* This was very easy to assemble I'm 89 and it took me about 4 hours between tee breaks to complete it. I was concerned at first that this would not be very stable But I was wrong after fully assembled it's a strong rock free solid piece of furniture.
