Fits my beloved Karlstad sofa perfectly and gave it a new life. Very soft and went on easily. The trick is to fold the fabric under where the legs attach; then screw the legs over the fabric. I ordered the dark grey and it has a navy blue tint to it, which i like but take note. Great seller and came packaged well, would buy again!

Fabric is beautiful denim-like heathered blue. Fits as well as the original IKEA cover. Washes up well. Very durable. I’m using it for outdoor seating area, so there’s been some fading over the last 3+ years. But beyond fading the cover is still in really beautiful condition. When current cover needs to be replaced, I’ll buy another one from the same company.

Great cover for upgrading/replacing on the Karl 3-seat sofa! Fabric has a nice stiffness to it, and the varigated thread scheme is nice. Love the blue color, it really pops! Assembly was easier then the default Ikea branded covers actually as the seams are much easier to get straight (they are more "invisible" in camparison to the OG). Disassebled and reassembled with an extra set of hands in an hour and 1/2 but we took our time, labeling the legs, vaccuming the frame, and reading instructions in reverse, then normally. Assmebly note: The cover has velcro in all the areas you need it. Our Karl did not have matching velcro in 2 spots (front/bottom) on the frame for whatever reason. It would have assembled exactally like the Ikea cover does, but I used a staplegun to attach 1-2" velcro strips to the frame in these spots to ensure it looked as neet as possible. Your Karl may not be like ours was, but I thought I would share our fix.

I really like this sofa cover overall. The fabric feels soft and it looks nice on the couch. It fits well on the top and sides, but the bottom part is slightly loose, so it doesn’t stay perfectly in place. Also, the material doesn’t feel extremely durable, but it’s still good for the price. Overall, it’s a nice cover and does the job, just not a perfect fit underneath.

Inexpensive way to remodel

I was really happy to see that this fabric is very similar to the original Karlstad that I bought in 2013. It’s got a great tweed-like texture which also means it’s not as soft as plain cotton. The tan color does have streaks of grey and is not as true tan in the stock photos. But it’s still a really nice color. The zippers and Velcro are all good quality. Stitching looks good too. I also included a photo of the tools that I used to take apart the sofa which you have to do to get the cover on. To get the best fit you have to remove the legs too. Karlstad covers were always tight to put on and this one is just the same. Takes patience and better with 2 people to really pull the fabric in the right place. Also don’t firmly attach the Velcro until you have the cover positioned right. Just lightly press in to hold it in place while you adjust. I was able to get most of the pieces into the right fit but on one arm I could not get it as shown in photos. Not sure if that’s me or the fabric is too short. I’m pretty sure I would buy this in another color.

This did not fit. It is good quality and I like the color (it is as represented) but I wouldn’t order from this vendor again. I use blankets to cover up the gaps. I’m lucky that we have another couch in the living room.

Our couch covers looked like warzone of dulled gray and graffiti after epic artistic expression of two children. Now they are older, and the fact that I was about to lose it if I didn't something with this couch, it was time take action. We considered getting a new couch. But these covers offered an alternative to the large expense of new furniture. We are so pleased with the new cover, the beige is brighter than the boring gray cover. We got a few pillow covers and everything looks great.
