Oh Dear!: A Lift-the-flap Farm Book from the Creator of Dear Zoo Board book – January 5, 2023

Oh Dear! is an absolute favorite in our home — equally adored by my 12-month-old and 2.5-year-old. As parents, we love reading it too! The repetition keeps both boys engaged from start to finish, and it’s been a great tool for helping them learn animal names and sounds.The lift-the-flap format also supports fine motor skills and adds an element of surprise that keeps them coming back for more. It's simple, sweet, and so effective.If I’m ever asked to gift a book for a baby shower, this is my go-to. It’s a true hidden gem that every young family should have on their bookshelf!

We love this book! My daughter loves the “Dear Zoo” book, so when I saw this I knew it would become another favorite. She loves lifting the flaps and seeing all the animals. I love the simplicity and sweet illustrations

My toddler loves farm animals and animal sounds so this is a perfect fit for her. The story is cute and fun and the illustrations are so sweet too.

All of my grandchildren loved Dear Zoo and that board book is one of my top choices for children. I purchased Oh Dear! for my 18 month old granddaughter and it is now one of her favorite books. A little boy has been asked to collect some eggs and on each page, you lift the flap to discover one of the farm animals. The refrain, “oh dear” is repeated each time the eggs are not found. It won’t be long before your child will be repeating the refrain after he or she has lifted the flap. This will also be one of my top choices in board books. It is a soothing and delightful book and of course, the eggs are eventually found. I highly recommend this board book as an addition to a young child’s library.

Our granddaughter (just turning one) adores this lift-the-flap book. It's a fun romp around the farm looking for eggs. I will buy more for baby presents.
