Highly recommended because it does not have the artificial colors.
I love this Finch/Canary food because it does not have artificial colors, which is really hard to find these days! Artificial colors in pet food is not healthy at all, especially the Red 40, so I am really glad to have this brand. My finches seem to really love it and it is fortified what the nutrients that they need.

My Finches Seem Happy!
Although I provide my finches with fresh vegetables daily, they always have an endless supply of this Finch food. They seem to strip the shells to devour the inside seed goodness. I am always happy to see when Amazon has the 20lb bag in stock.

GIRL… RUNNNN! Bird parents! I hesitated and did all the math. Compared to the 1.5lb & 2lb at your local pet chain stores that are already $13-$20 this is it! This SOLD ME! I currently have 3 pied Zebra Finches and they are going to love this!!

Great Price
I had been feeding my finch another national brand of seed but when the price doubled for no apparent reason I simply switched to Kaytee. My bird has no issues with it and devours it just as he did the other brand. Not sure why Amazon is asking the customer about the flavor but I'll pass that question on to my bird.
