What kind of preservative does it have?

Thanks for your question. The formula is made without preservatives. All ingredients, including saffron, are stable. To ensure this, we run stability testing (specifically looking at microorganisms and active compounds) and we determined that the Youtheory Saffron has a two year expiration date based on the manufacturing date.

Is there any expiration date on the bottle?

Different sellers may have different lot#'s, which will have a different expiration date so it depends which seller you would buy it from and which lot they ship to you. As the manufacturer, we are currently shipping products with a minimum expiration date of 04/01/2021. We hope this helps answer your question.
