I have been on my wavy hair journey for a couple of years now and have been trying to find ways to boost my natural texture as well as prolong my styling. I have spent my whole life trying and failing to figure out how to have my (what I thought was my straight yet temperamental) hair hold a curl longer than 20 minutes/stepping outside (whichever came first). I could never figure out or have the patience for hot irons (and a style that took an hour would be gone in a quarter of that time usually), I hated putting in and sleeping in rollers. On a bit of a whim I picked this up and gave it a try and - wow. The method was super easy to learn and with a bit of trial and error I have been able to play around with different curl sizes and styles. Whether dry or misted with a bit of salt water I wake up with bouncy, well defined ringlets every morning - all I have to do is shake them out, give my roots a bit of a flip and tousle, and either let them fall where they want to be a bit naturally or separate my ringlets a bit then gently comb them out with a wide tooth comb or my fingers, maybe add a spritz of hair spray if it’s a humid or rainy day then enjoy beautiful loose curls all day. I don’t want to say it’s life changing, but it’s definitely hair changing and it has made doing my hair so much easier. I feel 80% more put together and dressed for the day just by taking out my curl set.I was afraid sleeping on it would be uncomfortable or end up mussing up my curls but even as a side sleeper I don’t find myself having any trouble at all with either comfort or slippage. I do wish that the set came with a claw clip since it’s included in the instructions (especially for the price) but luckily I had one laying around.

My hair has gone from never being able to hold a curl in my 31 years of life, to being curled all day. I purchased this to try and learn the heatless curling technique. I really Wanted to get a high end curler made from silk, but didn’t want to spend the money until I learned The technique and knew I would Be able to sleep through the night with it in. I have Successfully used this every single night for about 2 months now. I’ve perfected a method that works best for my hair type. I have Long straight hair that is on the thinner side. After washing my hair, I will Blow dry it, lightly run a straightener over it to reduce frizz, then put this contraption on to my head and hair. Initially the crown method was my go to, but I’ve recently switched back to the original method where it’s on their side of your head like pigtails. I do Not use water. I do Put some hair oil on my lengths and a bit on the roots to reduce any frizz. I use The L’Oréal miracle oil. That stuff truly IS a miracle. I also sometimes will spray a bit of hairspray over it once it’s in my hair. I do Sleep with a satin bonnet nightly which I’m sure also helps the style to form. Once you get what works for you down, this thing works great! I dont Wash my hair daily, about every 3 days, and second and third day hair come out just as good using this. Recommend giving it a try

So I got this as I usually wear my hair naturally curly and prefer to keep as much heat off as possible however with the change of weather I'm forced to curl my hair. It took me 2 tries to figure out how tight to wrap my hair before getting the exact curls I would usually get with a curling iron. You do not feel this while sleeping. I travel a lot for work so I typically wash and curl my hair day one, because of this I can leave my curling iron home and not only keep the heat off but...takes no room in my luggage.

Every video I’ve seen has these loose wavy curls, which is exactly what I was going for. First time using it my hair was a disco queens dreams of tight bouncy curls with tons of volume. I have hair just past my shoulders so I assumed the weight of my hair was not enough to drag the curl down. The next time I wrapped my hair significantly looser and woke up with a salon blow out look. Still a bit too curly curly, will have to figure out how to get the gentle curl but overall works great! Not terrible to sleep in either, I put a silk cap over the contraption and let it do its thing. My hair does have a natural wave to it so that could also be why I get the ringlets so intensely.

I use this nearly every night, it’s easy to use and stays in overnight, it gives lovely loose waves and takes me less than a minute to do my hair in the morning, take the curler out and brush through, and done. Wonderful time saver and curls are just as nice as if I’d spent time doing it and damaged my hair with heat
