This maker is the Very Best Stencils ! Steel stamped , no tearing or ripping , multiple sizes . My favorite if I can find them . This one I use to make on Egyptian papayas paper . Instructions for read 1446 BC calendar .

I have ordered like 10 of these for think so far and will eventually get all of them. I teach a book workshop all the time and these metal stencils are great! IF you use a fine tip marker don’t move the stencil it will smear. I use a soft lead pencil first then go over it with pen and then erase Love them!

it's important to realize that one has to realize that a glyph could mean/stand for a number of things, and you'd be all day trying to get the correct message across using this system.

The Egyptian hieroglyphic stencil is extremely well made and arrived in the nick of time so that I could create the graphics I needed to craft secret coded messages as additions to my latest children's mystery novel. I think kids would find this a welcome addition to their summer fun toolbox.

This is a perfect solid sheet of metal that can be used to write in hieroglyphics (transliterated). Each symbol is clearly marked with the English sound/letter it matches. I’ve used this to help my child (Year 4) do a project on Ancient Egypt. It was a great way to learn what the symbols mean. Tracing the symbols or using clay to make the hieroglyphs are both possible because the sheet is strong enough. Check the size of the sheet to have an idea of the symbol sizes if you want to use it for a specific purpose.

Great fun writing your name or whatever you want to do. Would recommend coloured pencils as felt tip smudges.
