BOOMJOY 42'' Ceiling Fans with Lights and Remote Control, Quiet Reversible DC Motor, Non-dimmable, 3 Blades Wood Indoor Outdoor Ceiling Fan with Light for Living Room Bedroom Study Office

I installed this 42" Boomjoy ceiling fan in my master bedroom to replace an older 56" fan that didn't have a remote control and it buzzed. At first I wasn't sure if the smaller size fan would push enough air, but actually this fan distributes air just as well as my old larger fan. Some of the good points are that when the fan is turned off the blades don't spin for long, which is great if you're wanting to change fan rotation. The fan blades are made of a rich dark wood with a professional finish. There are 3 light settings of Cool White, Daylight, and Warm White, these toggle by the number of times you push the light button. The fan has 6 forward and 6 backwards speeds. The slowest speed is excellent for sleeping since the fan is quiet. On high speed the fan pushes out as much air as any fast fan. There are timers if you prefer where the fan will automatically shut down after 1, 4, or 8 hours, otherwise it stays on until shut down. Plus there is a "Forward" and "Reverse" button to change fan direction. The remote uses 2 AAA batteries.Installation went without a hitch and though I am no master handyman. I did install the fan myself in a little under 2 hours which included removing the old fan too.

I needed to replace an existing "Old school" fan in our master bedroom and wanted something stylish, and with a wireless remote... This Boomjoy product worked out great! The installation was EASY, and instructions were well-written (A few unclear itmes, but nothing that couldn't be figured out). I will note that the fan had a defect in performance (Grinding sound + wobble), so I contacted the Boomjoy customer service, and they expedited a replacement for us... This new fan works GREAT and is SILENT! The light also works great and has options to adjust the "Color range" of the glow. I also want to point out that the remote is fantastic!... It has 6 speeds, a 3 position timer, and other features that work wonderfully.... "Thanks", Boomjoy for your fine product and service!

Love the speeds, quietness, and remote. The switching of different light modes could have been made easier but how often do you change the warmth of your light. For the money you can't beat it. We love the styling it goes perfect with the new wood ceiling we put in.

Decent fan. But when trying to connect the light to the motor there is zero slack in the wires to work with so it was super difficult to square up the plastic connectors and snap together. Tried everything. Got to the point where I thought they were engaged and finished the assembly. Fan worked great but the light did not. Tried to return this product and they kept sending me to a troubleshooting page. I was done troubleshooting and wanted to return but I could never get to that page. Sent a message to the seller and no response after 10 days so I took this down and threw it in the trash then went to Lowe's and bought a Harbor Breeze Fan like I should have in the first place. Too bad because the fan itself was pretty nice but the light was essential to the room it was to go in. The one star is mostly for no response from the seller and the light.

We recently replaced an existing fan light fixture in our living room. The fan paddles are solid wood and quiet when it is running. We like the easy use of the remote and ability to reverse the direction of the airflow. In the winter when our fireplace is running, it’s like opening a window for fresh air. An excellent upgrade to our home. Highly recommended!

We are very happy with our new ceiling fan. It was fairly easy to install, and it looks great! My only suggestion would be to make the light dimmable. It has 3 different white light styles (cool, medium, warm) but it only has one brightness level.

We love the sleek design and walnut colored blades. It works nearly silently, the light is cool and bright. Easy to install, great value!

Très beau ventilateur.Facile à installer, cependant compter environ 2h - 2h30 pour l'installation.Il est très silencieux et aère bien la pièce.La télécommande permet de gérer la vitesse, le sens de rotation, et la lumière.Le seul point négatif est l'obligation d'allumer et éteindre la lumière pour changer la température de la lumière. 3 températures différentes dont deux sont beaucoup trop blanche/bleuté comme des lumière de néon.
