Ich habe lange nach einem Ersatz für Sharwoods Indian Curry Sauce gesucht. Mit Wilkin & Sons' "Brown Sauce" hatte ich sie definitiv gefunden. "Steak Sauce" ist wohl dasselbe Produkt. Die Rezeptur hat sich aber nach meinem Eindruck (und Vergleich der Zutatenliste) gegenüber meiner letzten Bestellung (2012) leicht geändert, was die Konsistenz beeinflusst hat. Der Geschmack ist nahezu gleich geblieben.

This is THE BEST brown sauce in the known universe. I can do HP at a pinch but this is by far the tastiest accompaniment to a full English or eggs on toast. It has actual small pieces of ingredients and a depth of flavour that none can beat. Well worth paying the reasonable price to have it shipped over from my native England to keep me happy in my USA home. The package was very secure and the glass bottles very well cushioned with no damage over their 4000 mile journey.
