Absorbs sound, not Sound Proofing
Took me awhile to make the decision to purchase this based on reviews so I thought I should weigh in. If you are looking to sound proof a wall, this won't work. It will reduce some high frequency content but low frequencies will just pass through. Sound proofing requires a much more complex effort to perform correctly. But, if you are looking to reduce fluttery echoes in your room, or make a very 'live' room less bright, then this will help somewhat. It will diffuse sound a little but really just absorbs midrange and high frequencies. Not as much as professional sound treatment but it works well when used with Auralex or similar foam. I mixed these up with Auralex and professionally made clouds and I found it was a cheaper way to accomplish what I needed to happen. The adhesive works very well, in fact, I just scored the corners of the panel and pulled off a 4-5 inch triangle of the adhesive backing rather than removing the entire piece, and the panels held on the wall without issue. I figured if I wanted to remove them later, it would be less challenging to pull the corners than the entire piece. To sum it up, it's not pro level acoustic treatment, it won't sound proof your room, but it will help tame early reflections and works well if used in combination with professional sound treatment.

NOT Dark Gray
The product material looks good and I would use it but my office is gray and this dark gray is NOT dark gray. The color is blue and majorly clashes with actual gray colored furnishing and walls. Being from Hawaii, it would cost me a fortune to return. Thank god I only ordered one case to test as I needed 5-6 cases.

It's manageable.
The soundproofing condition is not very good, but it seems to block the noise. I'm not very satisfied with my efforts.

Simple and effective way to dampen sounds
I just took up learning the guitar. As one might imagine I make more noise than music. These panels stuck well to the walls of my practice area. I could tell a difference in the sound in the next room right away. They were easy to cut and install. They look nice as well.

Good product at a good value
This acoustic tile package had the perfect amount for my project... The panels are not typical foam panel, they are made of a dense fiber and are large in size.My wife and I moved into a condo and made a theater area in our loft. The only issue is that it is the adjoining wall to our neighbor's bedroom. Although they never complained about noise, I saw these panels and thought it would help with noise reduction. At this point, I don't know if they truly helped with the sound, but I think them well worth it from a decorative standpoint alone. I think the end result speaks for itself... and I think they look great! The panels themselves installed very easily and cut with a sharp razor knife and the self adhesive worked great. The pain for me was taking down and reinstalling my entertainment center. The price point is more than fair since the package covers almost 80sf... That's a little over $2 per square foot which is cheap for acoustic panels. My only disappointment is that the dimensional width is not 24" as described. The actual dimension is 23-5/8" My wall that I wanted covered was exactly 10' wide and should have been perfect, but I was left with a little more than an inch gap. Because of this, I am deducting 1 Star.4 Stars from me.

Horrible, horrible product. Never buy it
Sound absorbing board is usually used to decorate indoor space, safety is the first, such chemical fiber material must be flame retardant, but after I cut a small piece of light, I was horrified to find that the sound absorbing board kept burning until reduced to ashes, as shown in the video. Its density is very small, the whole board is soft, the weight of a single sound-absorbing board (including the back glue) is only 31.32oz, you can also imagine that the sound absorption effect described by the business may be untrue. The packaging of this product is very simple, you can not find any performance indicators and instructions on the product inside and outside the package, and there is almost no protective measures for the product, so the four right angles of the sound-absorbing board have been deformed when you receive the goods. The adhesive used for the installation of the sound-absorbing board has an irritating taste and may cause harm to people's health. This is a horrible, very irresponsible product, decisively return it, and never buy it!
