It’s hard to imagine a better biography of Lou. Exquisitely written and researched, it’s a pleasure to read. Hermes succeeds in making its subject humane, infuriating and deeply missed.

Really enjoyed this book. Well informed & got me re-evaluating his back catalog. I’d only got Transformer, Berlin & VU with Nico on vinyl. Read it in a very short period of time. A great Read in more ways than one!

Beautiful cover, seems well researched. Great biography of one of the godfathers of modern music. If you’re reading this then my suggestion would be to just buy the book. It’s worth it. A great addition to any Lou Reed collection.
