I absolutely love the way this looks and feels! It delivers a pop of color and it's really feels smooth and moisturizing. It's a real bargain because it performs so well and the packaging is lovely. I will definitely repurchase because it checks off every box if what I'm looking for in a lip product. Definitely recommended!

Very pretty color! Super natural looking but with a great pop of color! I have gotten so many compliments wearing it! Super sheer feeling but doesn’t take much product to make a difference! I’ve never tried the Clinique black honey or cherry one that inspires this one, but my coworkers that have say that they think it’s very comparable! Especially for the price point! No smell, no taste! Wouldn’t say it nourishes your lips, but I wouldn’t say it dries them out either! Not sticky, and has a soft feeling when wearing! It lasts but I reapply about every 3 hours, to keep it even! It can wear off when eating or drinking! I love it! Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL lippy. It's such a gorgeous, deep berry shade that literally anyone can wear. Yes, even if you don't feel comfy in deeper lip colors. Application is effortless with zero stickiness, and the formula is very moisturizing with a nice shine that would be just as appropriate to wear out to dinner as it would be to the office. The only reason I removed one star (which was painful!) was bc (to me, at least) its beauty is just too fleeting to be considered a lipstick. Black Cherry, in her current formulation, is really a tinted lip balm - and just a couple of sips of coffee will render her a wispy, ethereal memory. Constant reapplication is necessary to maintain that gorgeous just-bitten hue. And that means you'll use a lot of product. If Elf could create a long-lasting formulation in this sheer, delicious shade - with this level of moisturization? I'd happily pay more than Clinique's price for that.

I ordered this as a cruelty free option for a beautiful berry lip. This lip color is sheer and soft, feeling more like a balm than a lipstick. I do have to reapply it regularly because it doesn't last very long, but it is beautiful and feels nice. The shade is similar to Clinique's Black Honey, but more affordable and cruelty-free. The price is quite reasonable for the quality, and I appreciate the wearability of this shade. I would highly recommend it.

Is it both a shade and texture dupe for Clinique Black Honey? Yes. Is it far more affordable than Clinique Black Honey? Yes. Will I continue purchasing this instead of Clinique Black Honey? Yes. Should you try it? Yes! This light lip color goes on sheer and is easily buildable when layered. It has no fragrance. It makes a great everyday lip that you can glide on without a mirror. I keep one on my desk to add a quick pop of color to my face for video calls. Can also be used on cheeks as a sheer, dewy blush. I swipe some product onto my fingertips from the tube and tap/blend it on my cheeks. This is awesome for a quick, sheer little boost of color to your face so you don't look dead on cam. This is not a long wearing product. It will need to reapplied after eating/drinking.

it was smaller than i imagined. it leave a nice natural colour and adds shine but wears off easily. it feels like nothing on your lips and is absolutely not sticky but the wear payoff is very average.

Love! I don't every buy ELF - I always thought it was a "cheap" brand, but boy, was I wrong about that! This is my favorite lip balm. It is smooth, silky & a gorgeous color. It looks natural and feels amazing. It is shiny but not sticky & doesn't smell. I love it better than far more expensive ones I've tried, like Laneige & Clinique. I hoep they never discontinue it.

The top swatch was one, really light swipe of the lipstick and the bottom is four swipes. It definitely feels like a lip balm but can be built up to be darker and more pigmented. The staying power is decent? Most of it came off after eating/drinking but I was surprised that some of the rosiness stayed. It does feel comfortable on the lips as it’s less drying than a regular lipstick but personally I like putting something like aquaphor on top so the moisture lasts a little longer. I’ve seen some people say it’s a dupe for Clinique’s Almost Lipstick in Black Honey. It’s been a while since I’ve used that one but I definitely see and feel the similarities. If you loved black honey, I would definitely give this a shot.
