Brown plastic, not gold.
This will be fine for my son's costume but it does not match the photos. It is just brown plastic and does not have the gold look of the photos. Maybe they changed suppliers or plastic after the first batch. For the price, I will just keep it, and we will spray paint it, but just know that you are ordering a brown plastic staff.

Dont buy this product.
DONT BUY THIS ITEM under any circumstances. It's is a dented yellow / ochre colored with no gold look to it at all. I had to paint it myself to a gold but this video it the before pic. POS
